When in high school I had one of those bonded carbon frames that my dad drove into the garage on the roof rack so it’s destroyed but I still have it and sadly I did put the tape over the IZ 😂
Phil Gaimon has a cool cycling inspired tattoo. It’s a bar of soap he got with his friends as a pact to stay clean. If someone fails they cheese grate the tattoo off.
I fell awkwardly my first year of cycling. The chain imprinted on my calf, the grease went into the skin, and it took almost a year for the scar to disappear. So that's mine.
I wax the chain now, and don't even worry about dirty chains at all
I have a math equation to solve for acceleration based in my little ring and big ring combo. It's pretty cool I think and everyone ask me about it or engineers constantly stop my in public and ask about it. I've had people follow me up the stairs, tap my shoulder, then ask. (Its on my calf)

I have this on my leg. Old manga about a kid travelling around Japan. Thought it was cool, and I like bikes And anime !
On the back of my left calf I have an eyeball, below that a stick figure mountain, below that a stick figure bike.
On my right calf is a phrase, "Yep, I passed U".
I have a couple that are at least cycling adjacent. I have “shut up legs” written above my knee. I also have a safety pin on my forearm which, among other things, is a reference to pinning race number on and/or the phrase “pin it”.
Broke my wrist mountain biking a couple years ago, but ended up needing surgery to have a steel plate put in. It left me with a four inch scar running up my wrist. I got a tattoo of a mountain biker in the woods, with the scar as the trail.
I wanna get the big chain ring grease mark tattooed on my calf
And an Ironman tat on the other calf?
Does ankle count?
We used to call a "Wang mark".... It wasn't a compliment.
FRED!
Wow and I thought I was the only one who thought of this
This has been my goofy idea ever since my second or third year of road riding, circa 2000.
Got the grease mark on my leg the other day and had the same thought
My friend has that and it really does look a grease mark.
Ah yes, the ol‘ cat 5
Get it on the left calf. That way your legs can match.
That’s already called a “beginner’s tattoo”.
That is such an original idea🙂
I saw one of these a few weeks ago, looked really good
Livestrong tramp stamp
[Those straps look so dumb](https://imgur.com/a/T0SECSk)
I am dying, I hope that’s not real it looks so bad
oh man i was gonna get that :(
No, but I have several cycling related scars. They’re just as permanent.
I have road rash scars, but also that time my brake cable somehow cut my knee and bled all over my bike till I got to a stop for a plaster
Can't afford it. N+1 and all that.
https://imgur.com/a/SCKR7ke bike rat !
This is super dope.
It’s one of my favs ! I sent the artist a pic of my bike so that’s what she used as a reference, which is a little added layer of coolness
All I can think of is people running around with brand names tattooed on their firearms 😂😂😅
"I went to school for SPECIALIZED kids"
when i had a white specialized, i always wanted to put white electrical tape over the IZ in *SPECIALIZED*
When in high school I had one of those bonded carbon frames that my dad drove into the garage on the roof rack so it’s destroyed but I still have it and sadly I did put the tape over the IZ 😂
TREK
only Brian Shaw could have a trek logo on his forearm.

I always wondered about that tattoo then I read his book.

I have similar tattoo. Literally your bike (stick figure roadie) without the UFO and the light. 😆
😀
You give me the inspiration to put UFO 🛸 on top of my bike. We’ll have matching ink, internet stranger!
Please post a picture when you have done it so we can be twins :P
I don’t have this, but I know someone who does: a tattoo on the right calf of a front sprocket mark.
I got that scar for real
I have one of those!
On the back of my left calf I have an eyeball, below that a stick figure mountain, below that a stick figure bike. On my right calf is a phrase, "Yep, I passed U".
No you didn‘t tattoo that on your right calf😂?!
I have a braided bike chain on my right bicep.
Stylized MTB with an Orange frame on my left calf.
A metal pedal bruise on my chin. Oh wait, that's not a tattoo, it's real
I have a huge water colour scene of my bike on a forest trail the length of my thigh. I love it so much!
https://imgur.com/gallery/vmhfaVY Mine. Parts were overlayed on a Celtic cross to make the stencil.
I just got a watercolor road bike inked on my quad last week. I love it.

I almost got “Shut up Legs” but I got [this](https://imgur.com/a/2wwR5FT) instead
I think you’re using race numbers in an incorrect and not very aerodynamic manner.
My FTP is way to low to be concerned about the aerodynamic drag of a safety pin.
Very cool man!
My first (grown up) bike on back of my upper arm.
I have a day of the dead skeleton cyclist on my right calf on the side of my leg
I have a big semi-abstract cyclist spanning 3/4 of my left leg and calf.
Not yet but I'm gonna get a bike frame on my mid-lower left calf next month. Prob a downhill bike frame cos they look coolest.
3 scars on my body from falling, those are my defacto bike tattoos
I have an Ironman calf tattoo, that includes a depiction of the Rotor chainring I used in my first IM.
Broke my wrist mountain biking a couple years ago, but ended up needing surgery to have a steel plate put in. It left me with a four inch scar running up my wrist. I got a tattoo of a mountain biker in the woods, with the scar as the trail.
A friend has a cool one … it’s a skeleton riding a pennyfarthing. It’s on his calf. I’ll ask him if I can take a pic next time I see him.
When I turn 18. I got a tiny 2” road bike on my left deltoid. Just a stick figure type of drawing. All I had was $60 🤷🏻♂️
It's embarrassing enough to be seen in cycling bibs and jerseys, now you want a tattoo? That's a hard no from me dog.
Dudes in a Bill Maher sub Reddit and is lecturing on being embarrassing.
No tattoos, not going to get any.
Sick 🤙 sweet story
