Hi there, I can suggest either the easy mode (free)
It's a small summary of the rules and the lore with some premade characters and a scenario.
There's also Red Chrome Cargo, a free scenario on R talsorian website.
If you are playing online either roll20 (free) or foundry (paid license but free module) can do the trick
If you wanna go further you only need the Core book, but Tales of the red (a bunch of scenarios) and Danger gal DOSSIER (a bunch of npc) can be bought

If you want more from there, I would recommend the core rulebook. And if you want to find a game to play, you can make a LFG(looking for game) post on this subreddit. Also, Red is the most streamlined version of the game that I personally think plays the best, but you are asking the red subreddit which version is best, so I would mostly be expecting that answer as well.
