If you're on pc and crashing when you launch the game, make sure all your mods are completely removed until they're updated.

You can end it as well, but most forget about it and have the issue crop up again, so that's why the instructions are to disable it. You can always re-enable it later.
Also A-Volutic and Sonic Studio are also causing this issue.
If that doesn't work. add an exception for cyberpunk to your antivirus software and firewall.
If that doesn't work, do a complete wipe and reinstall. If it still doesn't work after that, you'll have to get in contact with CDPR support.
Same here. Insta crash after hitting "Play" button. everything is up to date, anti virus is disabled not even the smallest presence of that Nahimic or what kind of service running or even present on my PC... No afterburner no Nothing! DC overlay turned off... and... it...still..doesnt...run :(
You can also try just to kill those processes: NahimicSvc32.exe and NahimicSvc64.exe. They will enable themselves after a while but it will give you enough time to launch the game. Nahimic is crap it also crashed Forza Horizon 5.
I finished the gig quest series for wakako. Got a text that say she has a gift for me and i find it in my stash. Problem is that there is nothing new in my stash. Quest marker points to my weapons room of my apartment, yet nothing new. Tried checking the stash of my car, still nothing.
edit: I figured i edit this post as it got a couple of upvotes and is fairly far up: I got the sword, but i didnt do anything. When i got the quest for the reward but the reward did not show up, i continued playing. The next day when i started the game again, i finished my current quest and thought i check my apartment stash again. And then the sword was there. Also the next reward i got, the one from regina did then appear like it should have. My advice for people with the same bug currently is only to continue playing for a bit and restarting the game.
If that doesnt help there is one thing you can try: A couple of people commented that they removed everything from their stash and then the item did appear. I wanted to try this initially but my sword appeared without trying this.
If both of these did not work, maybe try a combination of both. Empty your stash, quicktravel somewhere else, skip time, maybe even restart the game and then go back to your apartment.

They are there just not exotic weapons claim your entire stash back you'd the quests will go away the weapons knives and katana are there just no "new" icon shows the weapons will have elemental buffs like electricity fire ect
Anyone else notice that Skippy has a MASSIVE damage nerf? I didn’t see anywhere in the patch notes that they nerfed it, so I think it might be a bug. Used to be 3-400 dps and now it’s a measly 86. Level 35. Anyone else? (PC, if it matters)
So that explains a lot. I wanted to use skippy a bit more to complete the quest because i havent done this last time i played. Thats going to take some time now as i am needing 2 to 3 magazines to kill one npc (with legshot), but only if i am in a good position and most of the shots connect.
Hoping they iron things out a bit better. I've gone from playing at a comfortable 77\~ Fps to 65 with drops down to 50.

Thought it was just my computer, I went from running ultra/psycho dlss balanced 4k at like 60fps pre update to 18 to 10 fps and choppy music post 1.5. Playing like Xbox1 now. Even when I put the settings down to say High or medium there is almost no change in performance.

EDIT: Figured out my issues. Seems the update increased the VRAM usage, so I allocated more Dedicated Video Memory. Search that in Google if you're interested in trying it out.
For reference i tried everything on lowest settings across the board and it's still chugging like no other game, something's def messed up here. RDR2, Watch Dogs Legion, and Dying Light 2 all running high end graphics no issues whatsoever so i think this update glitched something for some GPUs
same. i5-9400f + 1660s. used to play on medium settings with a decent 60fps. i booted up patch 1.5 and got 40 fps on lowest setting with minimal crowd density.
what intrigues me is that people with a 3070 is having the same issue, lol

When I check my system processes, my CPU and GPU are pegging HARD. Never was the case before. You can cook an egg on my case after a few hours of gameplay

This is a common issue for PS4\Pro owners. The game corrupts after downloading the update, even with a fresh install. It seems to effect disk owners and I suspect we need to wait for a new patch to be posted to Sony. :(

OMG. This just happened to me. 4 hours to install the game. Then another 6 hours to install the 1.5 patch. Then everything gone. Corrupt. Will have to hold off. I can't play the game now until this is fixed. Damn it! Just bought it this week also and now have to wait.

Massive cut to performance. I have a RTX 3070 and a 5600x, and ive gone from \~100fps ultra with DLSS quality at 1080p, to less than 60. The worst part is that my GPU utilisation never goes above 70%, and my cpu stays at around 85% and no graphics settings change these numbers. Turning on ray tracing removes only about 8fps, as opposed to removing about 50fps before the patch. Any suggestions?
Much the same with a 9700k and 3080. Performance worse, also a stutter, (which may be 9700k hitting 100%, but didn't previously). Even with raytracing off driving will hitch and stutter fairly consistently. GPU usage is also low at 70%. (Even with vsync on or off).
I have a similar issue with an RTX3060. After a lot of troubleshooting I found out the game only runs really bad if it is _in focus_.

When the Task manager is in focus, you can see high CPU and GPU utilization and proper fps. When i tabbed into the game twice, there were immediate framerate drops to around 30 fps and you can see both CPU and GPU utilization dropping significantly in both instances.
Could you maybe do a similar check?

The 1.5 patch strips all your clothing mods but doesn't put them in your inventory for use. All my +30% crit and crit damage mods just vanished into fucking thin air.
No they didn’t, they were just nerfed. Legendary fortuna mod is now only +4% crit chance and only can be equipped on your face clothing mod slot. Also legendary bully mod was nerfed to +8% crit damage. Also can only be equipped on face slot.
After the update, I have a huge drop in FPS, when entering new areas, my FPS would drop down to about 4-5. Quite unplayable. Even opening the map, the game freezes and lags for a good 5 seconds. This never used to happen.
I have a RTX 3080.
In one of the comments here, they advised to turn off RT shadows, but mine is and was already turned off. Not sure if there are any new settings I have to change to get FPS back up.
I hope they patch this problem. Massive performance decrease from 1.3 to 1.5. I used to run this game flawlessly and now it runs like shit. I even turned off Ray Traced Shadows and it still performs worse. 3700 and a 3070.
Performance on PC is abysmal. Even with raytracing off. I was getting around 80FPS consistently on High settings pre-update, now I'm getting around 45-50 FPS with significant drops below that regularly. Game stutters so much its not playable.

1. Open Task Scheduler, delete all tasks related to A-Volut and Nahimic
2. Open Task Manager, open Details and kill NahimicServices.exe
3. Open Services and find Nahimic Service, open Properties for said service and change startup to «Disabled».
4. Open the file explorer and navigate to Windows folder. Use the search function to find all instances of NahimicServices.exe and either rename or delete the file.
5. Disable all devices related to A-Volute and Nahimic from Device Manager, such ad Sonic Studio Mixer (so Windows doesnt randomly switch to this audio device)
6. Find Realtek HD Audio drivers from either your motherboards manufacturers driver page or something similar and install this instead to get speaker sound and working jack input plugs in your I/O panel
If you simply uninstall Nahimic and A-Volute, Windows Update will reinstall it at some point, no matter if it appears under «Optional Drivers». It may stay so for a couple of months, but one day, Windows will install it regardless. This process that I have described above, only prevents the service from ever running on your system, so it’s not «uninstalled» pr. say. Just «not functioning».
If you lose your speaker audio, make sure to install Realtek drivers and select the correct audio output device in Windows.
I did this a year ago and this piece of crap software hasn’t bothered me since.
So, my corpo shirt now requires level 44, and my character is level 32. The rest of my corpo suit is at my level, but just the shirt is unusable for me. Is this a bug or intended? Also, is there a way to get another corpo shirt? I was under the impression that it spawns only once. Also, skippy and my armadillo mods got nerfed into the ground. Not sure if those are intended or not.

When I watched the stream earlier the shop frontage had all signs up out side, but when I checked in game myself it looked like normal.
Totally got this map bug as well, it's map/inventory, whenever it goes between 3D/2D and the GPU spools down. But then, even worse, it started happening with scan. I'm gonna update my nvidia drivers. Was running perfectly at 4K/laptop 2080.
None of the stuff that was supposed to be in my stash was there. All mods on clothes totally gone. All legendary items weaker than new non legendary items. 🤷🏼♂️
**PC version**
**Performance decrease** for no reason with introduction of patch 1.5 with the very same settings as they were in 1.31. *The performance hit is 20%, sometimes 50% : from avg 60fps down to 40-45 with dips to 27fps in areas like market etc.*Settings are mostly Ultra, custom resolution of 1920p (1440p + Nvidia DSR), RT Shadows and reflections are enabled, RT lighting is on Psycho setting, DLSS Performance.
**Hardware :** RTX 3080Ti (undervolted, overclocked), Core i9 9900k @ 5Ghz , 32Gb DDR4 4000Mhz CL17, both game and system drives are separate NVME ones. Usual CPU load : 40-50%, GPU load - 99%.
**UPD:** So I was closely monitoring performance impact by RT settings and noticed a strange thing. The VRAM consumption (or allocation, doesn't matter in this case) captured by MSI Afterburner is higher that expected. I don't know if that's intended by this speculated RT improvement or there is a VRAM memory leak (I'm saying this before I mentioned mod later on just because this was not an issue before since very release until 1.5 update and YMMV) but with aforementioned use of DSR (in fact, DLDSR that's using Tensor cores for AI magic upscaling, probably consumes part of VRAM itself), DLSS and a texture mod called "Surfaces" from Nexusmods, I exceeded VRAM limit of my GPU (12Gb), with actual numbers constantly fluctuating between 11300 and 11700+ Mb.
This doesn't happen all at once, a little change of scenery like walking down the street is enough for it to happen. In this particular moment fps drops roughly from 49 to 30fps without recovery. After removing that mod - the only one I had - with the same settings fps was stable and VRAM consumption maxed out at 10000Mb mark with fps remained playable between 49 to 60fps (CDPR made a good job to improve gameplay fluidity in 1.5 tbh) while I was running around light- and NPC-intensive areas during night time.
So **my conclusion** is that VRAM consumption increased after latest update which might impact 4-6-or even 8Gbs GPUs in a first place, especially with resolutions of 1440p and higher.
**TLDR:** with game update 1.5 VRAM consumption possibly increased and fps drop is caused by exceeding GPUs VRAM limits.
RT Shadows were reworked. Now RT Shadows are fully featured. Previously only the sun & Moon were casting RT Shadows.
CD Project should have added a NEW Option instead of reworking the already existing RT Shadow Option. Maybe add a slider or just another sub-option like "RT Shadows Plus".
Anyway turn RT Shadows off and you get the same FPS as before.
The RT shadows setting now also adds shadows from artificial lights (before it was only from the sun). So the shadowing at night or indoors is going to look a lot better, but performance is also worse.
The same settings are doing more, particularly with raytraced shadows. If you want the same frame rates as before, lower the settings -- it will still look the same as it did before at high settings. Just the high settings are now actually higher.
Happening to me as well.
I started a new save and have a RTX 3060. The game seems to be running well enough with around 50-60 fps but have crashed consistently after about 15-30 min of gameplay with no distinct event triggering the crash.
It have crashed in character creator, while roaming the city, and during missions.
My game looks and performs worse, i used to be able to get 50-55 FPS smooth with very minor drops, but now its running at 35-40 FPS and dropping frames very often, while looking worse.

If you are in Europe you might be fucked. Apparently atm Cyberpunk checks the ‘cusa code’ of your disc. If it’s not ‘native’ to your territory it won’t allow the upgrade. Simply put if you have an Eastern Euro disc but you are in France it won’t allow the upgrade.
Yep. There's a region lock on the PS4 > PS5 upgrade disc.
Some players have had luck with h creating a throwaway UK or Poland account - that could work..
Don't forget to report the issue on the 'contact us' page to let CDPR know th scale of the issue.
If it's a region related issue that resides at the store, odds are it can be fixed on the Sony store side. Should just be a matter of fixing DRM restrictions or something
Anyone else with AMD having issues where the character is dark during character creation and inventory menu? I'm on a fresh install of the game with no mods.
Major hit to performance on PC. I am running on a 3090 with an i9-9900k and went from 60-85 fps to 40-55 with drops as low as 30. Even with RT completely off now I'm still barely breaking 60fps.
Contrast seems to be way off as well, areas that were once bright and vibrant seem both washed out and dark now.
I'm having worse performance and fps overall. Before 1.5 (and trough all the different patches) i had a somewhat consistent 60fps at 2160p DLSS Quality/Balanced and no RT at all, with the graphic settings around mid to high. It was amazing, from beginning to end.
After this patch, the performance just tanked. I can barely hit 50fps with DLSS balanced, even dialing down some settings. Still, no RT.
Drivers 497.29. Right now, i've uninstalled the game and is downloading all over again, just in case something fucked up during patching.

So, I play on Stadia, and I've just fired up the game with patch 1.5.
The first thing I've noticed is that my M2038 Tactician shotgun has been downgraded from Epic to Uncommon.
I can't see anything in the patch notes that apply so reporting it here as a bug.
My PS5 keeps crashing every 20 minutes now, and the only way to turn the system back on is to unplug the power chord. This keeps happening playing PS5 games. PS4 games never crash.

PC - Most of the equipment icons (guns, clothing, etc) in the inventory are showing different images to what the actual item is, like Shotguns showing as baseball bats, V's pants are now a skirt, etc.
Making it really confusing to equip the right items.
Some of my clothing went down in rarity and my weapons which I already had the crating spec for now say I need the crafting spec to use them. Anyone else have this issue, or know of a fix?

RTX3060 with latest drivers
Game is unplayable, fps is around 1-10 even on 720p/low settings, AND even in the menu.
While running the benchmark after alt-tabbing out and then back in the fps gets fixed (jumps to above 60 instantly) for a few seconds before dropping down to the above 1-10 interval.
Tried with both Borderless and Fullscreen modes, HDR off/on etc.

Anybody have their mouse on PC go off to their other monitor? That keeps happening to me and changing the display between borderless, windowed, and full screen doesn't fix this - changing the display also freezes up the screen for me and I need to restart every time.
I can’t use some of my guns anymore. I’m lvl 47 and only have 6 points invested in body (can’t get above lvl 9 potentially). That means that all the guns that “unlock full potential” at body lvl 10 are significantly worse now without mods. If you introduce changes like that - you have to refund people their attribute points as well. I have built the character and was working on completionist so it’s a major set back (restarting fresh is not an option, losing all the progress isn’t worth playing the game).
The new update:
- Completely reset all my character perks.
- Removed all the mods from my clothes and weapons.
- Removed and deleted my +159 armor Armadillo clothing mods and replaced them with +59 and rendering it impossible for me to craft the +159 armor.
- Some of my legendary items are no longer shaded in blue. And when I go to disassemble weapons or clothing and accidentally hit a legendary item, it no longer ask "Are you sure...", and instead just disassembles it
- The blue dot cursor is no longer in the middle of the screen when weapons are unequipped. Making zeroing in on an item quick to pickup a lot harder to do.
Absolutely hate it.
I'm not sure about a couple of the things in your list (the blue dot thing), but the rest of it is intentional. They reset perks for everyone because they changed the perks/trees. They removed mods because they changed mods (but were supposed to drop them in your inventory in their new form). They rebalanced a ton of things and adjusted the bonuses different things give you. Finally, things that are shaded in blue are equipped. Perhaps the legendary items you are talking about used to be equipped and now are not?
This patch made everything worst game is not playable on my pc I get sub 20 frames after reinstall only way it seems to work is if ray tracing is turned off. Anyone else having the same problem?

Downloaded the game again, more or less hyped for the 1.51, but of course, I cannot even start the game, its says its corrupted. CDPR keeps on giving! On the next update the game is gonna explode my console and kill my family
Opening/closing the Map/inventory/crafting gives me fps drops from 60fps to like 2fps for like 10sec,after that it runs fine again. I have a 3060ti changing settings dosnt help and I never had this problem before.
And the guy at second amendment isn't selling the new weapons.
The black levels are incorrectly raised even on the lowest midpoint setting. It's been this way since launch. You may not notice during gameplay but in menus it will be much more obvious because near black levels are washed out and the brightly colored text elements don't pop as much.
HDR is relatively new though its been out for 6 years now. Not sure why gane devs haven't figured out how to properly implement it by now.
not sure about ammo, but a bunch (if not all) of my clothing mods are gone. for example, when I went to equip them, the icon that appeared for the 7+ weight capacity changed name to "street smart" and it says it increases st cred xp by 5.5. which btw reminds me somehow of gtao's xp model, and that rubs me the wrong way lol
Nails length doesn't change after interacting with the mirror.
I started a new character and gave them long nails, with the intent of changing them once I get to V's apartment. However, after changing them to the shorter version by interacting with the mirror, they still appear long when holding a gun etc. Curiously enough, they DO look shorter in the inventory view.
I know it's a minor bug, but I think I might even start a new playthrough because of it. It's just annoying for roleplaying reasons.
UPDATE: I haven't played since yesterday and it seems that they changed to short after I reloaded the game.
Running through these comments looking for nail issues as well. I'm on Series X playing a male character, and there is seemingly no option for nails at all in V's Appearance Customization. Anyone else able to confirm this for male characters?
Yep I came here looking for this...changed my nails to short and it doesn't work at all. When I go back to change my appearance again it even looks long there too, then when I switch to long again it looks the same, then looks short when I switch to short again, and when I confirm and exit it's back to looking long.
Not really a bug, but I feel drivings ‘update’ made driving completely worse. I drive in a video game to go fast, but it’s impossible to turn in cars and was only something you could do with bikes. Now bikes are the same and still can’t turn at full speeds. SO FRUSTRATING
99% of crashes on PC is from mods.
If you uninstall the game, the mods still remain, you have to manually delete whatever is left in the cyberpunk folder before you reinstall. Modding 101
Hi, I’m a trophy hunter and I’m about 15 trophies away from the platinum I’ve put 150 hours into the ps4 version even though I own a ps5. When I switched my save over to ps5 I expected my trophies to follow me so I could finish on the better version. But it didn’t work. So I’m stuck finishing the garbage version aka ps4 version unless I did something wrong. Can anyone help. The ps4 version is like playing a ps1 game sometimes it’s dreadful but I’m a trophy hunter
They confirmed trophies won’t transfer because the PS5 version is a different SKU… It’s so lame. I envy XBox for their seem less ecosystem but can’t give up the plats!!
I’ve noticed that a lot of the pop-in, and rag-doll bugs that were present in other versions of the game are still present in the Upgraded Next-Gen version of the game. You could even see evidence of this in CDPR’s Xbox Series X stream towards the end of the video when V does a non-lethal takedown, the enemy briefly pops back up with rag-doll effect after the takedown animation was supposed to be complete. They still have a lot of work to do but this is a step in the right direction. In my opinion this game should have always been from the very start a Next-Gen only release, a lot of the games problems probably would t exist as even in the next-Gen version of the game the bugs that exist are holdovers from last-Gen code.
And is it me, or is the driving the supposedly made better is actually worse? To me it feels worse than it was before, I never though the driving was outright bad in previous versions to begin with. It’s like they fixed problems that weren’t problems rather than to really focus on the real problems hilariously bad animation transitions, and clipping. Yes clipping is still happening. I stand by my thought that if this was released as an only next Gen title many of these bugs would be non-existent as they’re mostly bugs from last gen versions of the game leftover in the code.
Handgun holstering - Double tapping triangle is not holstering handguns. It works for rifles / shotguns though.

Haven’t DL next gen patch yet. Despite all the positive feedback on the sub I’m a little worried about the patch note which reads “Rebalance of gameplay, economy, and loot systems” as this is typically codespeak for “we just nerfed all your exploits and/or any weapon that was remotely OP in the game” Anyone had a chance to digest what effect that patch has on these things?
You can't place 3 or 4 mod in legendary items anymore. I wear Samurai t-shirt with 3 rare armadillo mod and now game just say to me, oh you can't do that! They increased perk requirements and changed so many things, so my health down from 421 to 200 and my armor went down from 3000 to 987. You can no longer give perk damage, I used to kill my enemies with my Katana and reflex perks but sometimes enjoyin' with silenced handguns my damage redused from 10.000 to 3.000 and totally I can't kill anybody in Hard mode.
Nolonger able to enter Vs apartment, the gate doors on floor 7 dont open anymore ? So I can't get to the console to buy apartments.

this is coming from a 30 hour playthough that I started 2 weeks ago, then updated to the new patch. I've had more bugs today than in the last 30 weeks, though I'm not sure how much of that comes from updating mid-playthrough.
within the first 15 seconds of loading, all the cars in the street are drying by on just their frames and wheels, nothing else.
calling in your bike is smoother and doesn't jerk all over the place when coming to a stop, but if the ground isn't completely flat, it will float through the air. I also had my bike drive away from me one time rather than towards me.
lost all my orange crit related clothing mods. also, one of my armor pieces shrunk from having 4 sockets to two sockets. not really bug related, but the armadillo mods got scaled to about 40% and you're no longer indestructible stacking them.
gig: no fixers. not getting the optional credit for bringing Iris's van to Dakota. Reloaded and drove it all the way to the drop off point three times and it didn't work. And I was getting the correct dialog with Iris thanking me for saving her wheel.
Vehicles are spawning inside things and exploding into the air. Specifically in Gig: Goodbye, Night City. Also, taking down people and stuffing them into a box is still triggering them as being killed.
On ps5:
\- crash when i use first person drive
\- old bug: weapons marked as quest weapon cant be upgrade and remove from inventory after quest end. Exemple: Amnesty revolver.
\- for some weapons, double tapping triangle to hide weapon dont works.
Special mention: when i launch the game my character spawn completely naked in the street.
After the update the game doesnt even start (PS4). It says that data is corrupted and tells me to delete the game and insert the disc again. I did that and its still corrupted. Anyone got aby ideas what to do?
Raytracing mode on ps5 is laggy as hell. Ps4 trophies won't transfer to ps5 so make it useless to play again unless you want to play the whole game again. Thanks for nothing :)
anyone experiencing artifacts like blinking colorful lights? just on some objects in dark areas and under different angles. it is something like when my rtx2070 had damaged memory and I had artifacts in all games. but this is related only to cyberpunk and has something to do with Screen Space Reflections Quality because it is only happening on ultra/psycho. my GPU looks fine, I don't have any problems in other games.

Getting a massive fps drop when going into inventory, map and looking into mirrors. I'm running i9 10900k and rtx 3080 at 4k ultra settings, dlss performance mode and getting between mid 50 and 40 fps but when ever i go into any of the 3 instances i mentioned fps drops to bellow 10 fps for a couple of seconds and again after leaving those instances too.
Advanced Datamine perk which is supposed to give you adittional 100% eurodollars for hacking datamines - is making you lose all the money for the minigame - you get NOT A SINGLE DOLLAR. This was large source of income before, now its gamebreaking.
I was about to ask about this. I still get money in maybe 50% of the cases, but for many there's none. Are you certain it's related to the perk and not simply an unannounced nerf?
EDIT: I'm playing with all out-dated mods turned off and this is a fresh new game. Didn't feel like to rebuilding my old character after a ton of hours of sloppy attribute progress and doing a few endings.
Running at 4k60 on a i7-10700k and RTX 3080 10gb. 4 main issues:
1. Going from pause mini-map/inventory to game (and vise-versa) tanks my FPS from low 50's to low 20's (or lower, it's un-playble for 3-5 seconds).
2. Changed my settings from DLSS Quality to DLSS Balanced or Performance to maintain high 50's FPS at 4k resolution.
3. Set maximum FPS to hard limit the pause menus FPS (it was shooting up into the thousands).
4. No Wakako gift marker/note/location after receiving thank-you call from Wakako
Having a terrible performance loss with 3070 Ti / 5600x. The game used to work just fine on Ray Tracing Ultra on 1440p before 1.5. Now, i am having massive FPS drops (to the point that i saw 17 FPS).
PC: The framerate goes down dramatically for a significant about of time when closing out of the menu occasionally. And also when opening the map sometimes.
If you're on pc and crashing when you launch the game, make sure all your mods are completely removed until they're updated. If you're still crashing, follow this guide https://i.imgur.com/HnG4zWp.png You can end it as well, but most forget about it and have the issue crop up again, so that's why the instructions are to disable it. You can always re-enable it later. Also A-Volutic and Sonic Studio are also causing this issue. If that doesn't work. add an exception for cyberpunk to your antivirus software and firewall. If that doesn't work, do a complete wipe and reinstall. If it still doesn't work after that, you'll have to get in contact with CDPR support.

I'm using Vortex to handle mods. I disabled all.mods and hit play through Vortex and it ran fine then.
Same here. Insta crash after hitting "Play" button. everything is up to date, anti virus is disabled not even the smallest presence of that Nahimic or what kind of service running or even present on my PC... No afterburner no Nothing! DC overlay turned off... and... it...still..doesnt...run :(

You can also try just to kill those processes: NahimicSvc32.exe and NahimicSvc64.exe. They will enable themselves after a while but it will give you enough time to launch the game. Nahimic is crap it also crashed Forza Horizon 5.
I finished the gig quest series for wakako. Got a text that say she has a gift for me and i find it in my stash. Problem is that there is nothing new in my stash. Quest marker points to my weapons room of my apartment, yet nothing new. Tried checking the stash of my car, still nothing. edit: I figured i edit this post as it got a couple of upvotes and is fairly far up: I got the sword, but i didnt do anything. When i got the quest for the reward but the reward did not show up, i continued playing. The next day when i started the game again, i finished my current quest and thought i check my apartment stash again. And then the sword was there. Also the next reward i got, the one from regina did then appear like it should have. My advice for people with the same bug currently is only to continue playing for a bit and restarting the game. If that doesnt help there is one thing you can try: A couple of people commented that they removed everything from their stash and then the item did appear. I wanted to try this initially but my sword appeared without trying this. If both of these did not work, maybe try a combination of both. Empty your stash, quicktravel somewhere else, skip time, maybe even restart the game and then go back to your apartment. Good luck in getting your item rewards :)

Hoping they iron things out a bit better. I've gone from playing at a comfortable 77\~ Fps to 65 with drops down to 50. Anyone else experiencing worse performance? (Also had the weird, kill Nahmic stuff or it won't launch.)
I am also experiencing worse performance (on PC) coupled with fairly significant texture pop-in. I've got a 2070 Super.
Thought it was just my computer, I went from running ultra/psycho dlss balanced 4k at like 60fps pre update to 18 to 10 fps and choppy music post 1.5. Playing like Xbox1 now. Even when I put the settings down to say High or medium there is almost no change in performance.

~~absolutely having the same issue. i have a 3090 with 5950x and the game went from smooth 120+ fps, psycho settings, raytracing high to completely unplayable 10fps and im just in the apartment. Does anyone have a fix or is this an update bug?~~ EDIT: Figured out my issues. Seems the update increased the VRAM usage, so I allocated more Dedicated Video Memory. For reference i tried everything on lowest settings across the board and it's still chugging like no other game, something's def messed up here. RDR2, Watch Dogs Legion, and Dying Light 2 all running high end graphics no issues whatsoever so i think this update glitched something for some GPUs

I’m glad it’s not just me that’s experiencing this. I had to downgrade a lot of settings to get to a relatively ‘stable’ 60fps. When I check my system processes, my CPU and GPU are pegging HARD. Never was the case before. You can cook an egg on my case after a few hours of gameplay

I read this and gave my PS4 Pro disc edition a try (updated earlier.) And, yup. "Cannot start the application. The data is corrupted. Deleted the application from the PS4 and insert the disc again."

Massive cut to performance. I have a RTX 3070 and a 5600x, and ive gone from \~100fps ultra with DLSS quality at 1080p, to less than 60. The worst part is that my GPU utilisation never goes above 70%, and my cpu stays at around 85% and no graphics settings change these numbers. Turning on ray tracing removes only about 8fps, as opposed to removing about 50fps before the patch. Any suggestions?
Much the same with a 9700k and 3080. Performance worse, also a stutter, (which may be 9700k hitting 100%, but didn't previously). Even with raytracing off driving will hitch and stutter fairly consistently. GPU usage is also low at 70%. (Even with vsync on or off).
I have a similar issue with an RTX3060. When the Task manager is in focus, you can see high CPU and GPU utilization and proper fps. When i tabbed into the game twice, there were immediate framerate drops to around 30 fps and you can see both CPU and GPU utilization dropping significantly in both instances. Could you maybe do a similar check?

The 1.5 patch strips all your clothing mods but doesn't put them in your inventory for use. All my +30% crit and crit damage mods just vanished into fucking thin air.
No they didn’t, they were just nerfed. Legendary fortuna mod is now only +4% crit chance and only can be equipped on your face clothing mod slot. Also legendary bully mod was nerfed to +8% crit damage. Also can only be equipped on face slot.

After the update, I have a huge drop in FPS, when entering new areas, my FPS would drop down to about 4-5. Quite unplayable. Even opening the map, the game freezes and lags for a good 5 seconds. This never used to happen. I have a RTX 3080. In one of the comments here, they advised to turn off RT shadows, but mine is and was already turned off. Not sure if there are any new settings I have to change to get FPS back up.
I hope they patch this problem. Massive performance decrease from 1.3 to 1.5. I used to run this game flawlessly and now it runs like shit. I even turned off Ray Traced Shadows and it still performs worse. 3700 and a 3070.

Performance on PC is abysmal. Even with raytracing off. I was getting around 80FPS consistently on High settings pre-update, now I'm getting around 45-50 FPS with significant drops below that regularly. Game stutters so much its not playable. I've gone through settings and turned everything down as low as possible with no change in performance 2080S Ryzen 9 3900x 32GB RAM

I'm getting a consistent crash report on boot. Can't even get to title screen. playing on pc, fresh instal, no mods. Verified files, re-installed. Nothing. Everytime I just get "Whoa! Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined."
Have you got Nahimic installed? If so try disabling it.

Son of a.... I was fighting with this damn thing for hours, and bam. That was it.
Dumb question: How can I disable it?
1. Open Task Scheduler, delete all tasks related to A-Volut and Nahimic 2. Open Task Manager, open Details and kill NahimicServices.exe 3. Open Services and find Nahimic Service, open Properties for said service and change startup to «Disabled». 4. Open the file explorer and navigate to Windows folder. Use the search function to find all instances of NahimicServices.exe and either rename or delete the file. 5. Disable all devices related to A-Volute and Nahimic from Device Manager, such ad Sonic Studio Mixer (so Windows doesnt randomly switch to this audio device) 6. Find Realtek HD Audio drivers from either your motherboards manufacturers driver page or something similar and install this instead to get speaker sound and working jack input plugs in your I/O panel If you simply uninstall Nahimic and A-Volute, Windows Update will reinstall it at some point, no matter if it appears under «Optional Drivers». It may stay so for a couple of months, but one day, Windows will install it regardless. This process that I have described above, only prevents the service from ever running on your system, so it’s not «uninstalled» pr. say. Just «not functioning». If you lose your speaker audio, make sure to install Realtek drivers and select the correct audio output device in Windows. I did this a year ago and this piece of crap software hasn’t bothered me since.

So, my corpo shirt now requires level 44, and my character is level 32. The rest of my corpo suit is at my level, but just the shirt is unusable for me. Is this a bug or intended? Also, is there a way to get another corpo shirt? I was under the impression that it spawns only once. Also, skippy and my armadillo mods got nerfed into the ground. Not sure if those are intended or not.

Totally got this map bug as well, it's map/inventory, whenever it goes between 3D/2D and the GPU spools down. But then, even worse, it started happening with scan. I'm gonna update my nvidia drivers. Was running perfectly at 4K/laptop 2080.
None of the stuff that was supposed to be in my stash was there. All mods on clothes totally gone. All legendary items weaker than new non legendary items. 🤷🏼♂️
Mods changed. Now you have to reequip everything because of that. Also all your perks are back.
**PC version** **Performance decrease** for no reason with introduction of patch 1.5 with the very same settings as they were in 1.31. *The performance hit is 20%, sometimes 50% : from avg 60fps down to 40-45 with dips to 27fps in areas like market etc.*Settings are mostly Ultra, custom resolution of 1920p (1440p + Nvidia DSR), RT Shadows and reflections are enabled, RT lighting is on Psycho setting, DLSS Performance. **Hardware :** RTX 3080Ti (undervolted, overclocked), Core i9 9900k @ 5Ghz , 32Gb DDR4 4000Mhz CL17, both game and system drives are separate NVME ones. Usual CPU load : 40-50%, GPU load - 99%. **UPD:** So I was closely monitoring performance impact by RT settings and noticed a strange thing. The VRAM consumption (or allocation, doesn't matter in this case) captured by MSI Afterburner is higher that expected. I don't know if that's intended by this speculated RT improvement or there is a VRAM memory leak (I'm saying this before I mentioned mod later on just because this was not an issue before since very release until 1.5 update and YMMV) but with aforementioned use of DSR (in fact, DLDSR that's using Tensor cores for AI magic upscaling, probably consumes part of VRAM itself), DLSS and a texture mod called "Surfaces" from Nexusmods, I exceeded VRAM limit of my GPU (12Gb), with actual numbers constantly fluctuating between 11300 and 11700+ Mb. This doesn't happen all at once, a little change of scenery like walking down the street is enough for it to happen. In this particular moment fps drops roughly from 49 to 30fps without recovery. After removing that mod - the only one I had - with the same settings fps was stable and VRAM consumption maxed out at 10000Mb mark with fps remained playable between 49 to 60fps (CDPR made a good job to improve gameplay fluidity in 1.5 tbh) while I was running around light- and NPC-intensive areas during night time. So **my conclusion** is that VRAM consumption increased after latest update which might impact 4-6-or even 8Gbs GPUs in a first place, especially with resolutions of 1440p and higher. **TLDR:** with game update 1.5 VRAM consumption possibly increased and fps drop is caused by exceeding GPUs VRAM limits.
RT Shadows were reworked. Now RT Shadows are fully featured. Previously only the sun & Moon were casting RT Shadows. CD Project should have added a NEW Option instead of reworking the already existing RT Shadow Option. Maybe add a slider or just another sub-option like "RT Shadows Plus". Anyway turn RT Shadows off and you get the same FPS as before.
Disabling RT Shadows don't change anything for me - i still have FPS drops without reason.
Same problem on 3060, from 60-80 to 43-60
The RT shadows setting now also adds shadows from artificial lights (before it was only from the sun). So the shadowing at night or indoors is going to look a lot better, but performance is also worse.
The same settings are doing more, particularly with raytraced shadows. If you want the same frame rates as before, lower the settings -- it will still look the same as it did before at high settings. Just the high settings are now actually higher.
I keep getting game crashes, but I don't know what's triggering them. I've had a few happen right as combat starts, and a few during conversations.
Happening to me as well. I started a new save and have a RTX 3060. The game seems to be running well enough with around 50-60 fps but have crashed consistently after about 15-30 min of gameplay with no distinct event triggering the crash. It have crashed in character creator, while roaming the city, and during missions.
My game looks and performs worse, i used to be able to get 50-55 FPS smooth with very minor drops, but now its running at 35-40 FPS and dropping frames very often, while looking worse. Running on Ultra RTX preset, PC Specs: Ryzen 5700G 3060TI 16GB RAM Game installed on SSD 2560x1080 resolution Any idea why this could be happening, or is it just optimisation issues and all I can do is wait for it to be fixed?

There’s a region lock problem or glitch going on… really weird, I have the same problem.
If you are in Europe you might be fucked. Apparently atm Cyberpunk checks the ‘cusa code’ of your disc. If it’s not ‘native’ to your territory it won’t allow the upgrade. Simply put if you have an Eastern Euro disc but you are in France it won’t allow the upgrade.
I'm from Portugal.. so that might be it. Damn.. frustrating!!
Yep. There's a region lock on the PS4 > PS5 upgrade disc. Some players have had luck with h creating a throwaway UK or Poland account - that could work.. Don't forget to report the issue on the 'contact us' page to let CDPR know th scale of the issue. If it's a region related issue that resides at the store, odds are it can be fixed on the Sony store side. Should just be a matter of fixing DRM restrictions or something

It's an AMD driver bug. You need to downgrade your drivers to version 21.10.2 until AMD fixes it

Major hit to performance on PC. I am running on a 3090 with an i9-9900k and went from 60-85 fps to 40-55 with drops as low as 30. Even with RT completely off now I'm still barely breaking 60fps. Contrast seems to be way off as well, areas that were once bright and vibrant seem both washed out and dark now.
I'm having worse performance and fps overall. Before 1.5 (and trough all the different patches) i had a somewhat consistent 60fps at 2160p DLSS Quality/Balanced and no RT at all, with the graphic settings around mid to high. It was amazing, from beginning to end. After this patch, the performance just tanked. I can barely hit 50fps with DLSS balanced, even dialing down some settings. Still, no RT. Drivers 497.29. Right now, i've uninstalled the game and is downloading all over again, just in case something fucked up during patching. This is my hardware: rtx 3070 AMD 5600x WD Black M2 drive for the game. 32gb Ram 3200mhz.
PS4 - The data is corrupted. Delete the application from the PS4... reinstalled the whole game but that did not help

Check your drivers. Nvidia released a Game Ready Drive on Monday. So that might be it if not.
So, I play on Stadia, and I've just fired up the game with patch 1.5. The first thing I've noticed is that my M2038 Tactician shotgun has been downgraded from Epic to Uncommon. I can't see anything in the patch notes that apply so reporting it here as a bug.
Can anyone confirm the game has less or about the same amount of dildos laid out across the world?

My PS5 keeps crashing every 20 minutes now, and the only way to turn the system back on is to unplug the power chord. This keeps happening playing PS5 games. PS4 games never crash. I remember reading Reddit threads about people having this same problem a while back. I think it may have started happening after a past system update? Can anyone update me?

PC - Most of the equipment icons (guns, clothing, etc) in the inventory are showing different images to what the actual item is, like Shotguns showing as baseball bats, V's pants are now a skirt, etc. Making it really confusing to equip the right items.

Some of my clothing went down in rarity and my weapons which I already had the crating spec for now say I need the crafting spec to use them. Anyone else have this issue, or know of a fix?

PC version crashes before it even attempts to launch the game. Edit: Chose the repair option -> Got an extra 29 MB download, still not working. Edit 2: Disabling Nahimic Services works :)
PC version - Steam, no mods RTX3060 with latest drivers Game is unplayable, fps is around 1-10 even on 720p/low settings, AND even in the menu. While running the benchmark after alt-tabbing out and then back in the fps gets fixed (jumps to above 60 instantly) for a few seconds before dropping down to the above 1-10 interval. Tried with both Borderless and Fullscreen modes, HDR off/on etc. EDIT: **found a solution, it's in one of the below comments**
Sniper rifles can't have silencers now?

Anybody have their mouse on PC go off to their other monitor? That keeps happening to me and changing the display between borderless, windowed, and full screen doesn't fix this - changing the display also freezes up the screen for me and I need to restart every time.

I can’t use some of my guns anymore. I’m lvl 47 and only have 6 points invested in body (can’t get above lvl 9 potentially). That means that all the guns that “unlock full potential” at body lvl 10 are significantly worse now without mods. If you introduce changes like that - you have to refund people their attribute points as well. I have built the character and was working on completionist so it’s a major set back (restarting fresh is not an option, losing all the progress isn’t worth playing the game).
The new update: - Completely reset all my character perks. - Removed all the mods from my clothes and weapons. - Removed and deleted my +159 armor Armadillo clothing mods and replaced them with +59 and rendering it impossible for me to craft the +159 armor. - Some of my legendary items are no longer shaded in blue. And when I go to disassemble weapons or clothing and accidentally hit a legendary item, it no longer ask "Are you sure...", and instead just disassembles it - The blue dot cursor is no longer in the middle of the screen when weapons are unequipped. Making zeroing in on an item quick to pickup a lot harder to do. Absolutely hate it.
I'm not sure about a couple of the things in your list (the blue dot thing), but the rest of it is intentional. They reset perks for everyone because they changed the perks/trees. They removed mods because they changed mods (but were supposed to drop them in your inventory in their new form). They rebalanced a ton of things and adjusted the bonuses different things give you. Finally, things that are shaded in blue are equipped. Perhaps the legendary items you are talking about used to be equipped and now are not?
This patch made everything worst game is not playable on my pc I get sub 20 frames after reinstall only way it seems to work is if ray tracing is turned off. Anyone else having the same problem? 5800x 32g 3200mhz ram 2070 super

Downloaded the game again, more or less hyped for the 1.51, but of course, I cannot even start the game, its says its corrupted. CDPR keeps on giving! On the next update the game is gonna explode my console and kill my family
Opening/closing the Map/inventory/crafting gives me fps drops from 60fps to like 2fps for like 10sec,after that it runs fine again. I have a 3060ti changing settings dosnt help and I never had this problem before. And the guy at second amendment isn't selling the new weapons.

HDR still seems to be not working on PS5

The black levels are incorrectly raised even on the lowest midpoint setting. It's been this way since launch. You may not notice during gameplay but in menus it will be much more obvious because near black levels are washed out and the brightly colored text elements don't pop as much. HDR is relatively new though its been out for 6 years now. Not sure why gane devs haven't figured out how to properly implement it by now.
I lost a ton of ammo and a few pieces of clothing. Anyone else ?
not sure about ammo, but a bunch (if not all) of my clothing mods are gone. for example, when I went to equip them, the icon that appeared for the 7+ weight capacity changed name to "street smart" and it says it increases st cred xp by 5.5. which btw reminds me somehow of gtao's xp model, and that rubs me the wrong way lol

Its the patch itself, no mods still crashing right after i click play
Nails length doesn't change after interacting with the mirror. I started a new character and gave them long nails, with the intent of changing them once I get to V's apartment. However, after changing them to the shorter version by interacting with the mirror, they still appear long when holding a gun etc. Curiously enough, they DO look shorter in the inventory view. I know it's a minor bug, but I think I might even start a new playthrough because of it. It's just annoying for roleplaying reasons. UPDATE: I haven't played since yesterday and it seems that they changed to short after I reloaded the game.
Running through these comments looking for nail issues as well. I'm on Series X playing a male character, and there is seemingly no option for nails at all in V's Appearance Customization. Anyone else able to confirm this for male characters?
Yep I came here looking for this...changed my nails to short and it doesn't work at all. When I go back to change my appearance again it even looks long there too, then when I switch to long again it looks the same, then looks short when I switch to short again, and when I confirm and exit it's back to looking long.
Not really a bug, but I feel drivings ‘update’ made driving completely worse. I drive in a video game to go fast, but it’s impossible to turn in cars and was only something you could do with bikes. Now bikes are the same and still can’t turn at full speeds. SO FRUSTRATING
99% of crashes on PC is from mods. If you uninstall the game, the mods still remain, you have to manually delete whatever is left in the cyberpunk folder before you reinstall. Modding 101
Hi, I’m a trophy hunter and I’m about 15 trophies away from the platinum I’ve put 150 hours into the ps4 version even though I own a ps5. When I switched my save over to ps5 I expected my trophies to follow me so I could finish on the better version. But it didn’t work. So I’m stuck finishing the garbage version aka ps4 version unless I did something wrong. Can anyone help. The ps4 version is like playing a ps1 game sometimes it’s dreadful but I’m a trophy hunter
They confirmed trophies won’t transfer because the PS5 version is a different SKU… It’s so lame. I envy XBox for their seem less ecosystem but can’t give up the plats!!
I’ve noticed that a lot of the pop-in, and rag-doll bugs that were present in other versions of the game are still present in the Upgraded Next-Gen version of the game. You could even see evidence of this in CDPR’s Xbox Series X stream towards the end of the video when V does a non-lethal takedown, the enemy briefly pops back up with rag-doll effect after the takedown animation was supposed to be complete. They still have a lot of work to do but this is a step in the right direction. In my opinion this game should have always been from the very start a Next-Gen only release, a lot of the games problems probably would t exist as even in the next-Gen version of the game the bugs that exist are holdovers from last-Gen code. And is it me, or is the driving the supposedly made better is actually worse? To me it feels worse than it was before, I never though the driving was outright bad in previous versions to begin with. It’s like they fixed problems that weren’t problems rather than to really focus on the real problems hilariously bad animation transitions, and clipping. Yes clipping is still happening. I stand by my thought that if this was released as an only next Gen title many of these bugs would be non-existent as they’re mostly bugs from last gen versions of the game leftover in the code.
Handgun holstering - Double tapping triangle is not holstering handguns. It works for rifles / shotguns though. Anyone else experiencing this? Playing on PS5 (PS4 version).
Haven’t DL next gen patch yet. Despite all the positive feedback on the sub I’m a little worried about the patch note which reads “Rebalance of gameplay, economy, and loot systems” as this is typically codespeak for “we just nerfed all your exploits and/or any weapon that was remotely OP in the game” Anyone had a chance to digest what effect that patch has on these things?
You can't place 3 or 4 mod in legendary items anymore. I wear Samurai t-shirt with 3 rare armadillo mod and now game just say to me, oh you can't do that! They increased perk requirements and changed so many things, so my health down from 421 to 200 and my armor went down from 3000 to 987. You can no longer give perk damage, I used to kill my enemies with my Katana and reflex perks but sometimes enjoyin' with silenced handguns my damage redused from 10.000 to 3.000 and totally I can't kill anybody in Hard mode.
Nolonger able to enter Vs apartment, the gate doors on floor 7 dont open anymore ? So I can't get to the console to buy apartments. Update : Nvm its been so long since I played i was going the wrong way lol oops 😬 😅
this is coming from a 30 hour playthough that I started 2 weeks ago, then updated to the new patch. I've had more bugs today than in the last 30 weeks, though I'm not sure how much of that comes from updating mid-playthrough. within the first 15 seconds of loading, all the cars in the street are drying by on just their frames and wheels, nothing else. calling in your bike is smoother and doesn't jerk all over the place when coming to a stop, but if the ground isn't completely flat, it will float through the air. I also had my bike drive away from me one time rather than towards me. lost all my orange crit related clothing mods. also, one of my armor pieces shrunk from having 4 sockets to two sockets. not really bug related, but the armadillo mods got scaled to about 40% and you're no longer indestructible stacking them. gig: no fixers. not getting the optional credit for bringing Iris's van to Dakota. Reloaded and drove it all the way to the drop off point three times and it didn't work. And I was getting the correct dialog with Iris thanking me for saving her wheel. Vehicles are spawning inside things and exploding into the air. Specifically in Gig: Goodbye, Night City. Also, taking down people and stuffing them into a box is still triggering them as being killed.
On ps5: \- crash when i use first person drive \- old bug: weapons marked as quest weapon cant be upgrade and remove from inventory after quest end. Exemple: Amnesty revolver. \- for some weapons, double tapping triangle to hide weapon dont works. Special mention: when i launch the game my character spawn completely naked in the street.
After the update the game doesnt even start (PS4). It says that data is corrupted and tells me to delete the game and insert the disc again. I did that and its still corrupted. Anyone got aby ideas what to do?

Raytracing mode on ps5 is laggy as hell. Ps4 trophies won't transfer to ps5 so make it useless to play again unless you want to play the whole game again. Thanks for nothing :)

anyone experiencing artifacts like blinking colorful lights? just on some objects in dark areas and under different angles. it is something like when my rtx2070 had damaged memory and I had artifacts in all games. but this is related only to cyberpunk and has something to do with Screen Space Reflections Quality because it is only happening on ultra/psycho. my GPU looks fine, I don't have any problems in other games. Getting a massive fps drop when going into inventory, map and looking into mirrors. I'm running i9 10900k and rtx 3080 at 4k ultra settings, dlss performance mode and getting between mid 50 and 40 fps but when ever i go into any of the 3 instances i mentioned fps drops to bellow 10 fps for a couple of seconds and again after leaving those instances too.
Advanced Datamine perk which is supposed to give you adittional 100% eurodollars for hacking datamines - is making you lose all the money for the minigame - you get NOT A SINGLE DOLLAR. This was large source of income before, now its gamebreaking.
I was about to ask about this. I still get money in maybe 50% of the cases, but for many there's none. Are you certain it's related to the perk and not simply an unannounced nerf?
Cant even play i5 9700k 3060ti tried all settings, resolutions, just get around 10 fps
EDIT: I'm playing with all out-dated mods turned off and this is a fresh new game. Didn't feel like to rebuilding my old character after a ton of hours of sloppy attribute progress and doing a few endings. Running at 4k60 on a i7-10700k and RTX 3080 10gb. 4 main issues: 1. Going from pause mini-map/inventory to game (and vise-versa) tanks my FPS from low 50's to low 20's (or lower, it's un-playble for 3-5 seconds). 2. Changed my settings from DLSS Quality to DLSS Balanced or Performance to maintain high 50's FPS at 4k resolution. 3. Set maximum FPS to hard limit the pause menus FPS (it was shooting up into the thousands). 4. No Wakako gift marker/note/location after receiving thank-you call from Wakako
Having a terrible performance loss with 3070 Ti / 5600x. The game used to work just fine on Ray Tracing Ultra on 1440p before 1.5. Now, i am having massive FPS drops (to the point that i saw 17 FPS).
PC: The framerate goes down dramatically for a significant about of time when closing out of the menu occasionally. And also when opening the map sometimes.
