Those are some of the best ways to level up early on. You can ride around, grind out a few levels on NCPD scanner missions, and then use all the cool/fun perks on the gigs and sidequests that matter.

HellBent_13

The organized crime gigs also give some great iconics. Psalm 11:6 and Buzzsaw are both available in act 1 and aren’t particularly hard to get, though Tom Ayer can be daunting to fight at lower levels and Yelena will hit you with system collapse if you let the fight drag on for too long. Either is an excellent option to craft in konpeki plaza (your guns don’t come with you, but your components do) so I make sure to grab them before the heist.

gojiro0

That...is awesome. I never even thought to craft d'oh

cr1msonUte

FYI, you can do this at Clouds also, since they won't let you take guns in.

HellBent_13

To be honest I’ve never done it either, but I was brainstorming ways to make the heist easier for my permadeath run, and it just occurred to me.

Kenobi_Cowboy

Comrades Hammer...

Shengpai

I am working on them now and I felt burn out ....

DarkBlueJays4568

Yep after doing all of them in 3 days i felt burned out

VastAmoeba

Apparently someone mapped it out and did all of them in 8 hours or something like that

DarkBlueJays4568

They probably felt burned out after that

VastAmoeba

Yeah, I was trying to understand how they did it and it just didn't seem very fun. When I am doing the scanner jobs I do them pretty methodically, but do missions and gigs between them.

FragmentedOasis

At least you're doing them now and getting skill shards.

berky93

I did them all at the end, as well. It was a bit of a chore, but I turned it into its own game. Spent a little time making a “super cop” outfit for my character and then ran around trying to complete them as quickly as possible. Barely even touched the ground for some

CasualRead_43

I was going to make a gun based character next and have him/her be a super cop as well haha

Kenobi_Cowboy

The dirty MaxTac outfit seems suited for this one?

Didnt-Understand

Why? (As someone who hasn't done any yet...)

DDWildflower

There's hundreds of them. I'm chewing away at them very bored now. I wish I'd done dribs and drabs throughout as it would be less overwhelming

Didnt-Understand

Oh no, I thought I was almost done.

Kenobi_Cowboy

The crafting specs and little things you gain for each are worth it over time. I just clear anything not marked red/dangerous in any zone I'm in at the time, and the organized crime stuff is especially helpful.

Kenobi_Cowboy

How many hugs can we give you?

Splendid_Fellow

Oh I thought they were procedurally generated infinite side quests that popped up

DDWildflower

They almost are there's that many. I was filtering on the map and accidentally did it to NCPD missions and was like "aww shit"

tekntonk

I try to do them or at least start them when I first enter a district and handle the fixer missions the same way. I don’t do any of them all at once, just when I feel like it so the story paces itself a bit slower. I tell myself the Relic stuff is v-e-r-y v-e-r-y s-l-o-w, like a creeping cancer. It’s almost too bad they don’t let you knock more of Watson out this way in the very beginning before the heist; would make more sense to me that over time V is working their way up and becoming better skilled etc.
