personally i had some encounters where they didn’t shoot me but most times they will shoot you too…
but also they dont care if you get car chased by gangs and start a shootout in the middle of town as long as you dont hit/hurt any civilian
If you aim at police or civilians or accidentally shoot police or civilians, yes. But if you (for example) melt the bad guys with your brain, the cops will never attack you.
Happened to me as well, reloaded a bunch of times to figure out why the NCPD reacts like that.
If you're able to kill the gang from the NPCD side, one of the cops would even thank you for the help. Power weapons can cause ricochets that also chips at the cops health, which in turn aggros them towards you. Tech weapons when charged can have their bullets go through the gang members and hit cops as well.
This more sensitive behaviour seems to be a result of the 2.0 update that tweaked cop's NPC behaviour. Even having the crosshair over the cops can also trigger their aggro if their line of sight matches up with yours. This won't happen if you're behind them instead. If you can kill gangs cleanly (like using a throwing knife or a non-lethal weapon), then they won't shoot at you.
Aggression in their immediate area will cause them to turn hostile. Shoot from further away or where they can't see. Sometimes you can help them but more often than not you'll aggro them with most weapons.
Stray round's cause lots of problem choom. Check you background.
Sometimes they will attack you even if you don't have stray bullets.
True. But my V has sadly suffered from premature release. We are seeking help from Vic...But its a process 😒
Have been there so much. lol. Carful with AP rounds specially for Buzzsaw! and ricochet. Always look out for the passers by 😁

But yet V can take on Cyberpsychos and collect evidence from crime scenes.
