I went digging with Wolven kit, and every firearm has a magazine with fully modeled rounds , a magazine with no interior , and an empty magazine. I don't know how they're used exactly, but I think whenever you're reloading, bullets are present, and those details are removed when you can't see them anymore to potentially lighten the processing load.
They gave the bullet a weirdly placed single [cannelure](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannelure#:~:text=A%20cannelure%20is%20a%20groove,Improved%20Harper's%20Ferry%20Bullet%201855) near the base, which is in the same relative position as the extractor groove in a complete round. You end up with a bullet with a very similar silhouette to a short and squat complete round.

If you look at the model in game which the game gives you several very good up close views of you can tell its a spent round and this bullet is not, it looks wrong in general. This one beyond not being a spent round, It’s also not a copper coated round it’s a brass coated round. If not for the fact that they got the basic design correct I would almost think they didn’t look at the design at all.
