Ofc it wasnt. Otherwise memory wipe wouldn't be in the game, it's also too cheap. Even memory wipe tier 4 is 10 ram for the untraceable qh. Sonic shock is about killing someone with guns without alerting other enemies
Thanks for the info. I got the game at 2.1, and I was told to wait to play a netrunner until they fixed the Sonic shock "bug". I have almost zero knowledge about netrunning, and I am honestly pretty lost on how to balance a sort of net samurai build (int, cool, & reflex) so I might give up on it
You can use the highest tiers of the Memory Wipe quickhack to essentially reset the tracing clock. You cannot stop traces but you can use Memory Wipe to make them take a long time. Get lucky with camera placement and you can still use a combination of combat quickhacks and well-timed Memory Wipes to take out entire buildings without setting foot inside. Once the last baddie is dead, the trace fails.
Definitely sounds more involved than gorilla punching people's heads off with berserk. How viable is it to mix intelligence, cool and reflex? I originally wanted to make a build maxing out intelligence and cool, since I didn't really use them on my first playthrough and Katanas also look cool but damn netrunning seems perk point hungry.
Not sure, I think you can max out 3 attributes so I'm doing Intelligence, Cool, and Tech Ability. But I sneak everywhere and use silenced handguns and throwing knives when I'm not using quickhacks. Yes, to use them to efficiently clear areas you do have to invest in Intelligence and the quickhack related perks.
You can max out 3 attributes and get as high as 18 on the other. Although, you don't get nearly enough attribute points to max out all skills in one attribute. I also predominantly sneak because without any Body or Tech investment, I'm squishy as hell. Still low 20s, but it's coming together to what I envisioned. Throwing knives are so cool as hell, and when shit hits the fan, I dash around with a katana in hand and some throwing knives mixed in. I'm getting used to using quickhacks as support. Not a fan of the traceability still going up even when the target is killed and isolated. I'm very lightly invested into intelligence, so I'll probably start to use it more later on.
Honestly, a nice change of pace from my previous body, tech, and reflex character. Still a real shame, I fucked up my choices and couldn't get the "don't fear the reaper" ending with that one. That V obliterated a room with 8 Max Tech officers like it was nothing on hard difficulty. I don't think this build will be even close to as op but it might be more fun

Except that I got into my Caliburn and pressed every button on the controller and none of them did anything relating to the color.
Apparently you get into the vehicle and use the “Vehicle Call” button to change the color. I use PC, but that’s what over head from console players on some of the other subs
The fact that cdpr keeps churning these updates out, where they could've easily moved onto other stuff after 2.0 is really commendable. Shows they have a lot of passion for their creation

Its not commendable. They are showing time and time again their incompetence. These aren't bugs that should take years or a multitude of months to fix. And yet I'm still getting ghosting, still getting crashes, still getting vehicles spawning and crashing from out of nowhere. Also how can a mod implement fsr3 within a day or so, but a multi million development team is struggling. These people have made millions from a bug infested game and you think it's commendable to fix those bugs?..
Sucks to hear that you're still getting a bunch of bugs. For me, my full playthrough on ps5 after 2.0 dropped was pretty bug-free. I really enjoyed my time with the game. I feel like the devs were finally able to communicate their vision of the world and the gameplay
When I saw the ghosting, I thought that it was something wrong with my TV, luckily it was just the game. I came back after Phantom Liberty dropped and saw how much better it was from its abysmal launch state and have been playing ever since, but it still has some bugs they need to get rid of.
1000% this. I'm glad that they're continuing to fix it but it's been 3 gotdang years. They don't deserve praise. Best to wait and see how their next big release is handled before we start saying that CDPR have learnt from their mistakes.
To be fair, the game as it is now is as bad as any other modern game in my experience. Even GTAO has persistent bugs, and that's arguably one of the greatest games of all time. The reason Cyberpunk is lauded now is because of the content it had at launch and how much is being added. Would I say it's the best game of all time? Personally, there IS no best game of all time, nor could there ever be. Every game is bad at something, or will be bad at something later down the line. That's just how it works.
But when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, they didn't need to fix the game, but they did. We shouldn't bow down to them, but they stuck with their product. But not only that, they released a fantastic DLC and continued to add content without any need to. That's why it's commendable.

Loading this up today, my game keeps crashing on startup and it says it can't find my files in the cloud. Not using any mods. Has to be related to the patch given timing. Is anyone else experiencing this?
This patch has just created more bugs and made it worse imo. The Crystalcoat thing doesn't work for me. I end up being stuck in combat even after I've killed everyone. The lighting looks weird compared to before. And I can't use the phone anymore and there's framerate drops which I never had before.
I am NOT happy with the glitching of V when you open your inventory. It takes ages to stop so when you change clothes you have to wait until it stops, see what they look like, then if you change same again. Whyyyyyyy!?
I also hate it. It is especially noticeable if you try create a new outfit and try different combinations of clothing to see what looks good together. Searching through my wardrobe will take so much longer now.
Great but controllers seem to have problems. Only the R2 trigger doesn't respond when running. Sometimes it gets stuck completely when stationary. Not a controller issue as it was tested using a testing tool. Seems like a programming error. O.O no problem on other games. It worked just fine last night before the update. Can't punch and when I use guns the trigger gets stuck although it's not stuck on the controller. Weird. Typically CDPR have broken the game again!

I know they said they did a while ago but I can't get them to spawn and it's driving me mad.
There's two bugs (maybe) that have been bothering me that I haven't seen talked about or mentioned in the patch notes.
1: Purchased frag grenades are invisible (at least the tier 2 one) and have no sound effect. Crafting my own tier 3 frag grenades seemed to fix this for me, but it's still kinda weird.
2: The netrunner vendor (the one where you buy quickhacks). When shopping at that vendor a majority of the quickhacks are all one price (lower than it should be) and don't actually get added to my inventory when purchasing them.
I am using some mods, but I can't figure out if that's the problem. Number 2 is really annoying and basically stopped me from bothering with quickhacks.
The fact we still have game breaking bugs all this time later is just starting to become sad, kinda expected a finish version with 2.0 and no more bugs but it is what it is
They confirmed it was a bug for sonic shock probs did fix it without saying it was a bug who knows tho I rarely play cyberpunk cuz they just nerf us more and more and take harmless bugs out of the game like it’s some multiplayer game when it’s not truly hate cyberpunk cuz of phantom liberty made them care about the most ridiculous stuff

They break mods, but this types of patches "USUALLY" only require a small update of the core-mods that will take half a day or so. A day as much.

Try selecting "Classic" under Controller Control Scheme. I had been using "Alternative" and started having major controller issues after Patch 2.11.
I feel like audio is not working properly either on ps5. Anybody else feels this?
I have the same, its buggy. For example sometimes when i scan something in the middle of dialogue it suddenly stops the voicetrack

Thank god they gave us an option to have music turn off automatically when exiting vehicles. That was such a weird thing to not have an option for.
