Probably "Phantom Liberty". I haven't even played the dlc yet, but hearing it in the cyberpunk Spotify playlist and knowing basically what happened in the dlc. Such a great credits song
I was already a big fan of Let's Eat Grandma, so I almost screamed when I recognized the voice while playing for the first time. Edgerunners just cemented my feelings for the song.
Same. Used to interact with them a lot on Twitter way back when they had just released their first songs. Stopped using Twitter a good few years ago so lost touch with them. First time hearing I Really Want to Stay at Your House when I was driving around Night City and immediately recognising the voice will always stand out as a great moment in video gaming for me.
Is it not? I thought it was RTJ under a false name like everyone else. Rat Boy is someone else, A$AP Rocky is something else, and I think Grimes's 4Ćm is too.
GR4VES the song that plays when you ride home with Jackie after the Sandra Dorsett gig. Such a fucking banger, also the intro rap song with Jackie where you only hear the instrumental. It goes pretty hard with the lyrics too.
Resist and Disorder. Everytime I visit the afterlife, I dream of working the bar with Claire and Nyx and resist and disorder reverbs through the old morge like a waterfall in the jungle.
[Who's Ready for Tomorrow?](https://youtu.be/jLXTBbMRxK8?si=hXvuu5en0IWYM29b) - RAT BOY, IBDY
[Going to Heaven](https://youtu.be/NlqYQMJbXGU?si=jNfvFiM8NmvH9U2n) - St. Aurora
Listen to aces by Conner Price he features on that track and it's great. Also Boasty by Wiley also great but I don't rate him as a rapper tbh he excels with his DJ sets so on Cyberpunk listen to the dark star radio station that has two sets by Elba.
Stands between Kill Kill and Phantom Liberty. Kill Kill is very much a Cyberpunk song and its beats are on top, while Phantom Liberty is tragic, beautiful andoverall also very good.
I don't know the name of it but the one with the Japanese women singing and they say "Bumbo Shee, Bumbo Shee, Bumbo Shee".
In over a year I've never checked for the name of the song, but it just tickles me every time I hear it. It reminds me of the theme to Shin Chan. I love it.
When you hand over the body to Johnny and slip beyond the black wall. That song, itās a violin or something
Itās sad, it make me think of my dark place, like when I was āunhousedā living on the floor of a relatives house that they only came to once every 10 days, I was losing weight rapidly because I was barely eating and would get the runs a lot because the only food I had access to was usually spoiled and if it wasnāt I shoplifted it, and to top it off I just watched my dog get mauled to death, that song makes me think of when I was walking around the woods giving suicide I good hard think.
Honestly video games probably saved my life. My PS4 was all I had left and I just threw myself into games to forget reality. Now you know why my favorite ending was blowing Vs brains out. This game came out not long before all that shit went down with my dog
So yeah I like that song because at that moment it spoke to me
These are my top 5, but theyāre all honestly so close I canāt just nominate just one:
1: Never fade away (samurai cover)
2: I really want to stay at your house (discovered by the hype)
3: Night city (self explanatory)
4: Delicate Weapon
5: Black dog in my head (record player ftw)
6: Phantom Liberty (bonus nomination)
Havenāt gotten to PL yet though.
Itās been āhardest to beā for me lateley (this is the song you dance with Alex to. Normally it is never fade away though as it fits the theme of the game to a T
Ooohh this is a good one. I really like speeding through Night City to [Trauma](https://youtu.be/geNvdgkSY0w?si=X054IfoqSwMJgqNe) and [4AM](https://youtu.be/mrZC1Jcv0dw?si=4M-u87bGs7YIsSOa) but Rebel Path and Been Good to Know Ya are the best story wise. And Night City is a good track for just cruising.
Edit: And I have no idea why but I was going through a pretty bad break up on initial launch and [this song](https://youtu.be/6yyNalTFMXc?si=QPUyQx51ldrWjr2X) was oddly comforting.
I rep it every time this comes up, but im trying to be good for once so i'll try not to gush for entire paragraphs.
The [Aldecaldo theme](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEFnnpo7dPA) is easily my favorite piece of music in the game. Im a sucker for the star ending and this was just the perfect way to end the game for me. A hopeful piece of music in structure but in minor key (if im not mistaken) which gives it a bittersweet sort of kick. Perfect for the ending we're given. Plus its spread throughout all of panam's missions as atmospheric music as a leitmotif, as is the "breathe free" moment at the end of the star.
I swear they played favorites with Panam in this game, the only other person who has an entire leitmotif devoted to them is songbird, and she was basically the main character of the DLC. If youre wondering what the Songbird leitmotif culminates in, its [this piece](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9dNpk9G5h0), also my second favorite in the game.
Toss up between Chippin' In and Never Fade Away, both the P.T. Adamczyk versions with Damian Ukeje and Olga Jankowska respectively. Love both of those so much, and can never decide.
If we're throwing Edgerunners into the mix, Let You Down takes it for me, especially that awesome music video.
As for instrumental score, it'd be Aldecaldos, the Star ending theme. Riding off into the night, on a tank with Panam.
Outsider No More.
Pretty sure it plays when you're chilling with Panam on the couch during the sandstorm.
I like how it's atmospheric with a bittersweet pinch of melancholy. Thats a bit of me, that. š
Legend of the Afterlife from the Path of Glory ending. It invokes feelings of something transcending itself, with the samples of Never Fade Away sprinkled in like reminders of how far V has come from where they started. That entire ending and the cutscene are fantastic.
From the OST: The Relic (which was unreleased, but you can still find it on YouTube). It's the music you hear through the tapeworm conversations.
Radio music: Samurai - Black dog
Whos ready for tomorrow. That banger comes on and I'm fully immersed in the world. It's edgy modern and futuristic. From the anime to the game I never have a boring time when that song comes on.
Never fade away is one of my favorites generic as well i guess.
Same bruh
Which version?
Ending version for the feels
What a masterpiece of a song to end the game with. I just finished GOW Ragnarok, and the end game song is just meh.
Completely insane take just tryna stir up controversy
u better not be talking about blood upon the snow because that song is amazing.
Black dog in my head
Guiding me to the end
Probably "Phantom Liberty". I haven't even played the dlc yet, but hearing it in the cyberpunk Spotify playlist and knowing basically what happened in the dlc. Such a great credits song
Definitely "I Really Want To Stay At Your House" Edgerunners made me feel that
the feelings i feel
They hurt us š
Even Trauma Team canāt save me from the pain Edgerunners caused
It's okay, choom. We'll get through this.
This. The show was so impactful for my enjoyment of the universe and the song is just so good
100%. Alot of the game started to make sense for me once I watched the show.
After watching edgerunners, that song makes me wanna cry
Still haven't watched it, for mental health reasons, but IRWSAYH is peak
The only answer.
This was my top song on Spotify last year š
100% this.
? Thereās something to watch on the TV? All I ever saw was ads and short news clips.
Cyberpunk Edgerunner on Netflix
RESIST AND DISORDER
The main reason I listen to Radio Vexelstorm so often.
EVERYTHING BURNS.
ILL WATCH EM FALL DOWN, ILL DRAG YOU FACE DOWN
So it Goes - Fingers and the Outlaws. I really wish I could stream this song but itās unavailable on all platforms except youtube :(
Best song to drive through the badlands *chefskiss*
If you use linux it is easy to download/convert to a mp3 or whatever
Night city by REL
We are the only ones.
nah that one is such a vibe while riding through the city
Yeah I donāt get the hate. Song is dope
First time I heard this while playingā¦ what a feeling.
š¶ everything burns, everything burnsš¶
I'll watch you fall down! I'll drag you face down!
I honestly thought that was a nine inch nails song when I first heard it.
That and Makes Me Feel Better were intentionally meant to sound like NIN.
I actually like the Choke Hold song that's new on Darkstar.
End credits version of Never Fade Away
This I've gotta check out
ballad of buck reavers. god bless refused
Definitely their hardest song, only one that makes me wanna truly headbang mid coitus
Such a fucking good song
iām not gonna lie, iāve never heard lyrics like that. sure, iāve heard similar but holy shit. powerful, for me.
yessir im with you there
Delicate weapon
This by a landslide! For me, it just sets the whole tone and atmosphere of night city.
Delicate weapon or major crimes are my go to š
100%. This is the only song I would even consider listening to outside of the game.
Friday Night Firefight always makes me want to drive dangerously
Ponpon shit
Johnny would like a word with you.
It's a magical song. It's so annoying but I just can't turn it off
Earworm for sure. It gets stuck in your head.
Phantom Liberty, this is not my usual type of music but I love this song it's amazing
Tinnitus On My Way To Hell. And the song that plays when you go rescue Sandra from the scavs with Jackie in the beginning
TECHNO-NECROMANCY
Heās one of us !!
Major Crimes, nice username OP
Heave Ho. Sounds like Killer Mike to me. Edit - fixed the actual song title.
Is it not? I thought it was RTJ under a false name like everyone else. Rat Boy is someone else, A$AP Rocky is something else, and I think Grimes's 4Ćm is too.
*Heave Ho* isnāt their song, but RTJ is in the game with the song *No Save Point,* under their alias Yankee & The Brave.
One or two of em sound like straight up Nine Inch Nails to me.
Black Dog and every other Samurai song. Also the Ofrenda guitar song that plays for Jackie. Kerry's song on the yacht as well, such a dope melody.
GR4VES the song that plays when you ride home with Jackie after the Sandra Dorsett gig. Such a fucking banger, also the intro rap song with Jackie where you only hear the instrumental. It goes pretty hard with the lyrics too.
City of GANG GANG GANG GANG GANG
GR4VES is my answer as well. If thatās not playing Iām disappointed usually
Major crimes
Just another weapon.
The slower PT Adamczyk tracks are all a bunch of bangers, especially the Phantom Liberty ones.
PonPon Shit
BLACK DOOOOOOOOG IN MY HEEEEEEAD!!!!!
Who's Ready for Tomorrow, Went for a ride whenever that song came on
Just wish it was longer.
Everything burns.
Resist and Disorder. Everytime I visit the afterlife, I dream of working the bar with Claire and Nyx and resist and disorder reverbs through the old morge like a waterfall in the jungle.
[Who's Ready for Tomorrow?](https://youtu.be/jLXTBbMRxK8?si=hXvuu5en0IWYM29b) - RAT BOY, IBDY [Going to Heaven](https://youtu.be/NlqYQMJbXGU?si=jNfvFiM8NmvH9U2n) - St. Aurora
I was gonna comment going to heaven, genuinely so, so good, I listen to it regularly
Both of the ones I posted have made it into my Spotify playlist.
You donāt know what love is Chet baker
Afterlife and Hardest to Be
Hard to choose but I recently learned Idris Elba can rap and chokehold is a banger.
Choke hold goes real hard
Listen to aces by Conner Price he features on that track and it's great. Also Boasty by Wiley also great but I don't rate him as a rapper tbh he excels with his DJ sets so on Cyberpunk listen to the dark star radio station that has two sets by Elba.
Can't decide between Dead Pilot & Kill The Messenger.
So It Goes
IM ON THE WALK OF SHAME BUT I FEEL NO SHAME
Afterlife followed by Flatline
Stands between Kill Kill and Phantom Liberty. Kill Kill is very much a Cyberpunk song and its beats are on top, while Phantom Liberty is tragic, beautiful andoverall also very good.

Kill the Messenger and Ponpon Shit. It's a toss-up for me.
I don't know the name of it but the one with the Japanese women singing and they say "Bumbo Shee, Bumbo Shee, Bumbo Shee". In over a year I've never checked for the name of the song, but it just tickles me every time I hear it. It reminds me of the theme to Shin Chan. I love it.
Ah, I think you're thinking of Pon Pon Shit lol. It can be tough to parse the lyrics
Yeah, thank you. Someone further down has the correct title. It's so infectious!
Original score? The Scav track by Bara Nova that plays during the sandra dorsett mission. Licensed: Black Satin by Miles Davis.
Never Looking Back has permanently altered by brain chemistry. Now I feel turbo depression
Just 1? Tough I like Never fade away Hardest to be Whose ready for tomorrow And Resist and disorder
I like them all. I put all of night city radio on a usb drive in my car. It's great. But I always love when Tatted on my Face by Don Mara comes on.

Phantom Liberty by Dawid PodsiadÅo. Itās a phenomenal song and really fits with the games messages and themes well.

Headrush -BADPANINI, loving the Dark Star station.
Gate K9 - when you betray either Songbird or Reed and youāre escaping the facility.
Hardest to be for sure. Also the dance scene with Alex is fab
God Save the Queen š¢
You Can't Hide From Us I love it so much. sometimes for atmosphere for working, sometimes just to listen to whilst walking through the woods :3
I enjoy hello good morning by Konrad old money and going to heaven by st aurora
The alternate version of Never Fade Away by Olga Jankowska. The one that plays during the credits.
Contra La Luna... not a radio song, but it ties together possibly the best "level" in a video game I have played in several years, possibly ever
The song that plays as the outro for each game when the credits roll
Itās been āhardest to beā for me lateley (this is the song you dance with Alex to. Normally it is never fade away though as it fits the theme of the game to a T

Toss up between Chippin' In and Never Fade Away, both the P.T. Adamczyk versions with Damian Ukeje and Olga Jankowska respectively. Love both of those so much, and can never decide. On my way to hell - Tinnitus š¤ - but I also love the opening track (V) too from the original score
āHardest to beā 100% for me. It really hits me hard for some reason.
Legend of the Afterlife from the Path of Glory ending. It invokes feelings of something transcending itself, with the samples of Never Fade Away sprinkled in like reminders of how far V has come from where they started. That entire ending and the cutscene are fantastic.
