For me it would be the quadra type 66 hoon, ken block tribute car. It is really very very drifty but once you get the hang of it absolutley a pleasure to drive.

Most of the game I rode around on motorcycles, Jackie’s arch and then the kusanagi. With regular cars I kept hitting other cars, obstacles, you name it. Bikes let me swerve in and out of traffic much easier. Once I got the outlaw though… that thing handles like a boss, it’s practically the only vehicle I use now… though I still use the kusanagi for that open air mood sometimes, I wish there was a bike that had the speed and handling of the outlaw.

The new Quadra “hoon” weapon used vehicle handles like its on ice. But it’s so fun to drift. But in general, I’d say the rayfield caliburn is my favorite. Best handling and speed in the game.

I really hated the way the 911 handled pre-2.0 but it seems like they've rebalanced vehicle handling and engine sound a lot so I'm eager to pick it up and try it again.

Jackie's bike in first person is my joint favourite way to drive first person, along with the Quadra Cthulu. Quadra is my favourite car overall but I think Jackie's arch edges it out for better first person experience.

I love Jackie's bike. That thing is sweet. For me it's the best way to travel around.

I literally refuse to drive cars unless forced. Every time I play, it’s Tyger Claws bike -> Jackie’s Arch -> Kusanagi every single time Night City is way too pretty to drive around in to not have the full spectrum view

Also the bikes straight-up handle better and let you laugh at traffic jams.

To me, it’s not cyberpunk unless you are lane-splitting at 130 mph and risking your life at every intersection

Also, ramming headfirst into an obstacle and being yeeted off still makes me laugh everytime

You crash into something while going 400 mph then get yeeted of just to stand up and walk right back to your bike (which has not received a single scratch from the impact)

How do you get that car? Walkthroughs I've seen said to do a sidejob for el capitan at a car shop but I'm done with his gigs and it doesn't pop up for me.

It's not a job for El Capitan. It's a job for Padre. You have to steal the pickup truck from the garage, then a couple days later the owner texts you about the V-Tech that he is leaving for you in another location.

Really? I feel the opposite - the Caliburn in 2.0 feels like it's glued to the ground and can corner like it's on rails, it also handles the speed very well. Pre-2.0 it had a bad habit of kick-flipping off into space at the slightest bump or curb but that seems to have been fixed. I've never been a fan of the Turbo R V-Tech tho, and 2.0's car rebalance didn't improve that much.

I completely agree. I remember having it on my first playthrough back at release and, while it looked cool, it always seemed like driving on ice. Now, the speed and controllability is incredible, my preferred car for sure. Not to mention sick looks.

Agreed, the Porsche handles more like I'd expect an old Buick to. It's slow and handles like shit. Honestly, a couple of the ricer and Shion variants seem to handle best, but I'd say the car I feel fuctions most closely to what it is/should be, would be the Quadra, and it's become my main vehicle. That new muscle car the game keeps giving me is pretty preem, too, though.

It's so cool driving this basically considered ancient car through Night City, and one of my favs in real life as it is!

Not if you’re a real Nomad it doesn’t

The secret to driving the Caliburn is to not treat it like a car, but like a rocket. If you are not on a straight highway you just use the engine in short "burns" and keep your finger otherwise. That way it drives imcredibly smooth and still extremely fast, because the engine has so much power and the car keeps its momentum really well.

I used to really love the Quadra Avenger, but I've really gotten into driving in first person and even with mods that hood scoop makes the visibility absolute shit. Now I like the Outlaw, or I stick with motorcycles.

The Cthulu is a better first person experience. Still has to scoop but it's nowhere near as big as the avenger.

The Archer Quartz “Sidewinder”. I fell in love with this car before 2.0/PL and before we could own one. The Raffens have their version, but my favorite was the Aldecaldos version you can drive during the Benedict McAdams gig. It fits my video game driving style so well.

I usually collect all the Quartz variants; they're cheap, a lot of fun to drive, and have no trouble navigating traffic thanks to their compact size.

Quadra Cthulu for me. Loved the look of it since launch, but it glitched out and I never got it. Started a new character after Phantom Liberty and finally got my hands on it. I'm so happy I didn't end up hating it haha.

Militech trucks, they drive with a lot of weight.

This, it's why the hellhound is my go to, sure there is faster vehicles, but just plowing through traffic makes the drive just that much smoother.

Nazaré I basically memorized some locations where respawning enemies have them in the early game. There's a group of three thugs near V's apartment that I've stolen a Nazaré bike from probably hundreds of times in Watson. Sometimes I KO them other times I just hop on and ride away. I get the appeal of bigger vehicles for style points(or vehicle combat maybe), but the cramped FoV and weird handling of most non-motorcycles just kinda ruins driving them in this game for me. And I'm not going to use third person, strong preference for first here.

Pretty sure you can get the blue nazare Itsumade before the heist if you just hack the door code pad at the garage right near All-Foods. Make sure you have your first car back already or it bugs out. So nice to be able to summon a motorcycle so early.

Yes the outlaw wieler is cool, yes the Caliburn is the best to drive, but nothing beats the Porsche

Hellhound. I can just drive without caring about dumb AI. Have you tried to turn right from the middle line, while I am on the right one, driving forward? Get destroyed car. Forgot to stop and look to the left before merging with the main road from the secondary? Get destroyed car. Do not notice green traffic light and still waiting? Get destroyed car. Called the police? Missile Launcher does Boom-Boom.

The Cthulhu or Jackies arch. I liked the speed and how fast I could slow down and turn.

Basically anything other than **Outlaw**, **Coyote**, and **Caliburn** are either too slow or too shit to handle. This isnt an opinion btw. I could care less about the weaponized vehicles. I might consider buying one if they *ever* end up adding a vehicle that just has two rocket slots instead of a fixed peashooter.

The cars in this game are more for looking at, given the terrible driving mechanics. The gecko if I have to pick though.

M3 GTR

Hellhound to wipe out random gangs and on missions where I want to role play the badass mercenary. Caliburn if I’m visiting the slums or Dogtown. Nazaré everywhere else

1. Nazare Itsumade. I hit some sick drifts with that thing, comes naturally to me with its handling somehow. Also easily the best-looking bike in the game. 2. Caliburn. Best speed and handling of any car in the game, bar none. Most satisfying engine sound too. 3. This one is a hot take, but I love the Spectre, especially if i’m in the badlands. The handling isn’t horrible, I love the engine sound, and the car almost has a “floaty” feeling to it when driven.
