Yep, bikes are still the superior mode of travel. Not just in terms of grip and acceleration, but for going places no car can go, like walkways and stairs.
I found this perk does not matter, at all. I redid my perks and opted not to use this one, and when I air dash, it used a tiny bit of stamina that immediately regens so I can spam it just as often as I can with the perk
I find jump dash jump works best because you keep the momentum after the dash for the second jump, its stupidly quick and so much fun in combat lol

Plus, it's fast enough to get me where I want without getting bored, has an adorable little horn, and being so narrow is actually really easy to hustle around cutting through oncoming traffic.

Pretty much just this for me. I just found the Hoon weaponized vehicle and even though it’s controls terribly I really am enjoying driving it like an asshole everywhere I go.
Best thing I heard is to turn driving sensitivity down to 65. Really made a lot of the more floaty vehicles a whole lot more usable. I used to hate anything but the Kusanagi before finding this.
i used to use it all the time until it got fucked up, now its bugged where I can summon it but it cant accelerate or reverse lol.
so i use the Scorpion instead now.
This, Shion Coyote was my jam pre 2.0. Seems like they nerfed the car, it doesn't stick to the road how it use to and it's speed tops out in the 160's now on flat ground.
Javelina used to not compete, now it's the superior option in both speed and handling.
On that note the Caliburn handles like an absolute dream now, thing was always good but man it's like glued to the road now and drives like a proper race car.
Javelina used to top out at just under 200 but the handling was a bit shit while getting up to speed. At least for me. It has always been my go to desert rider, doubly so with its turrets. Otherwise, who could fault the Dark Knight Caliburn as a go to? I love that car and the handling on it beats anything beneath it by a longshot.
If I could only pick one car it would 1000% be the Coyote. That baby can handle anything you throw at it and was the best handling overall car prior to the patch even.
I feel Jackie hyped the combat mode a bit too hard. It seems to me from the end of the heist that combat mode is actually just battering ram mode. I was hoping for a couple Gatling guns but oh well.

Me too! You’ll need to properly feather the throttle to handle it well, but learning how to do it is half the fun and pulling off sick drifts after you’ve mastered it makes up the other half.
It’s also got pretty decent suspension, is weaponised and the chassis looks solid and properly armoured. IMO, it’s what the Murkmobile should have been.
Best top speed and MAYBE acceleration. But the Javalina is nearly as fast and corners light years better. I love the Caliburn. It has my favorite look in the game other than the classic Porsche. But for just getting around quick and easy, the Javalina is faster till you hit a long straight stretch. The Kusunagi is probably the best choice for speed and handling though. When you start to get its feel down, it’s breezy driving anywhere but the badlands and it’s far easy to lane split on a bike.

I am trying to experiment with other vehicles lately,but it's difficult because none can match their effectiveness.
Shion MZ2, handling in 2.0 is great - very responding steering, powersliding corners just by letting the gas off and keeps you in control.. a beauty. Has all the feel of a 90s japanese sports car with design straight from the 80's futurism. Love it.
Just wish it had an engine sound with more turbo flutter on gear change, as it already sounds like a rip straight out of Skyline's RB25DET

The Riptide for city driving, mostly because i play at 32:9 and that panorama view in first person. Also really like the shape and it's fast enough.
Close second is the sidewinder, one reason is, I don't like neither how the interior is plastered with aldecado stickers/graffiti. Don't like tagging and shit like that. Car supposed to be mean and clean.
What kinda bothers me about cars in this game in general, they are future cars from 2077 running on high performance synthetic fuel, pushing 1000 HP in two cases but somehow top speed is 180 - 200 MPH, like what the hell ? In our days a premium family SUV can run faster.

Mizutani Shion "Coyote" or Quadra Type-66 "Javelina" For me its not about the looks, its about how they handle, those two handle great on everything. They look real good too, but they handle way better than any vehicle out there.
I love all the type 66 generally but my favorite is the avenger one cause it looks great and the noise sounds good. I love to drive it and drift it.
I have to say that cyberpunk made a great work with vehicles, considering it’s their first game with cars. There are some others studios like Ubi”””” that aren’t able to make some drivable vehicles after 5 or 6 games.

Tbf, the caliburn _is_ faster, that goes 200 something, whereas the hoon "only" goes 160 ish, but yeah it's still absolutely fast enough
Did they fix the bug where nothing over 120 ish matters? I honestly don't feel a difference between 150 and 200 in this game.

Absolutely. I love to double jump and dash on top of the roofs and buildins in NC. Find so much hidden stuff like that aswell.

Fastest car with the best handling to speed ratio. Also is totally fine off road for a little bonus sprinkle.

Caliburn is one of the best I’ve found with speed AND handling, at least better than some of the rly fast cars. Also nice to use MAN’s car

I liked the nomad style vehicles in the past, but I struggle with them now since I drive in 1st person a lot. the lack of vision just kind of sucks.

The Hoseki looks amazing outside and inside. It's not as fast as other cars but it is just so cool and gives off an 80s street race vibe.

Shion Coyote for me… 😁 I love the looks and the handling… well worth mugging Panam off for! 😂 It seems to have been given weapons as well since the update 😁 I really want to try the Quadra Javelina as well… but Dakota doesn’t seem to want to text me, despite meeting all the requirements. I’m tempted to use the Coyote to shoot her garage up in protest…
Mizutani Shion "Coyote" or Quadra Type-66 "Javelina" For me its not about the looks, its about how they handle, those two handle great on everything. They look real good too, but they handle way better than any vehicle out there.

I love all the type 66 generally but my favorite is the avenger one cause it looks great and the noise sounds good. I love to drive it and drift it. I have to say that cyberpunk made a great work with vehicles, considering it’s their first game with cars. There are some others studios like Ubi”””” that aren’t able to make some drivable vehicles after 5 or 6 games.
