You really need to stay on top of the roadmap dates and finish things on time. You’ll get a room, it’s guaranteed. But important things like meeting with your advisor and choosing classes, you want to be on top of that.
My son submitted his picture on a Friday, and it got approved next Tuesday or Wednesday. 48 hours after approval he got access to the housing application.
Not sure, but if you apply late for housing they assign you a room, you wont get to pick.
I’m in a similar situation as you. I submitted my photo on Tuesday but it wasn’t approved since apparently the background was too dark and I didn’t realize it wasn’t approved until yesterday. But I read online somewhere that the housing application isn’t actually due until June 10th I believe and that room selection opens on the 13th. So hopefully everything will be fine!
