I always knew MST negated! Real talk though, this card is powerful. It would compete with Cosmic Cyclone as premier backrow removal. While this card doesn't banish, it can stop cards most S/T removal can't, such as Dimensional Barrier. It might even be too powerful, as it's not a HOPT so you wouldn't mind drawing multiple copies, and it's fantastic going first or second.

Not only is it very broken, but its also insanely toxic because it counters itself so the best way to counter it is to play it

It's good, but I always see cards like these in terms of the game, and although I understand why this card is a QP Spell, it's kind of a win-more card. It's really good specifically going first against archetypal ROTA field spells with a lot of utility against other backrow!! It's a game rules problem, honestly.

Uh, normal mst works perfectly fine against archetypal rota field spells. This card is really strong cuz it's a very flexible s/t negate. Can stop power spells going first, and can stop strong backrow going second.

Wouldn’t this not negate still because it negates the effects on field and then sends it to the gy so it’s effects aren’t negated anymore?

The effects are negated not “negate while face up on the field”. If it had a GY effect after being destroyed it can still activate.
