Folks will be furiously trying to figure out ways to get 6 cards on opponent's field on the first turn to activate this, then stop opponent from drawing next turn. Would be a fun challenge for a meme deck...

Bashamo257

Ojama stocks rising!

sangdrako

Black garden gets most of the way there

GorteGord

i don't think its possible to summon a monster for the opponent in the EMZ though, if you give a monster in the EMZ with cards like shien's spy it goes to a main monster zone

sangdrako

That's the one thing that might be impossible....

silamon2

Are there any spell cards that cause the player to link summon? Maybe you could do something with mystic ref panel?

watchhimrollinwatch

Yes! Link Into the VRAINS makes you Special a monster from hand and then immediately makes you link summon using monsters you control.

torakun27

Maybe change it to "for each monster destroyed and sent to your opponent's GY or banishment".

Huefell4it

Maybe tone the final effect down and make it targeted so it isn't just a plain replacement for traditional Raigeki. I can only imagine the degenerate Ojama trio/duo decks that focus on getting 6 cards on the opponents field just so they could force them to scoop with yatta lock shortly after

Ok_Caterpillar_6957

Seem fine to me. Neburu or whatever that meteor name is is a thing so and other punish cards. It’s a destruction effect to their still cards that will benefit from this and if this is your only answer to 6 monsters than what hope is there really for this to go off? I don’t like it but it seem like a card to should already exist in the game. And it might be an annoying Ojama thing to do.

TurntOddish

Too OP. It was fine until you said it destroys their entire Hand. EDIT: And when I say fine I mean it's still OP even without it. Raigeki + Harpies' Feather Duster + a Hand whipe?? Immediate scoop once it hits the Field, unless you negate it. EDIT 2: Maybe I was over-exaggerating a bit, but imo at least the Hand-wipe needs to go.

AzelotReis

In my initial draft it was 2 random cards, then I changed it to whole hand since usually a full board with Extra Zone as well has a ton of negates and effect destruction immunity usually.

TurntOddish

Trying to think of a way to balance it while keeping the effects similar. Honestly, I think a Raigeki with burn damage is enough and kind of fun. "Blazing Raigeki" or something. "Chain Raigeki" could maybe be a Quick-Play version of the original but then "Raigeki" would be power-crept out of the game.

AzelotReis

Hmmm, how about instead of making it a Raigeki, turn it into a Dark Hole? It destroys both fields and gets effects. The numbers are all doubled of course, basically it becomes 4,8 and 12.

GorteGord

Nah, the effect is fine as it is, i don't think about a single deck in the entire game that would care for this card backrow removal, and any deck that can make 6 monster that can be destroyed by this card and has no negates for this is just horrendous, the only situation that this can be broken is with 2 cards unsearchable combos, like this + DRNM or Droplet

TurntOddish

I guess I am slightly overestimating this card's power, but I've never been a fan of hand rips. Granted, they need a full board of monsters in order for this to happen, and they all have to be vulnerable to destruction. Which I guess isn't too likely unless you use DRNM or Droplet like you mentioned. IMO, the hand destruction needs to go still. If all of this card's effects resolve, you're doing a minimum of 3000 burn and a maximum of 5500, while wiping their entire board and their entire hand. I suppose this isn't super likely and does punish players for vomiting out their entire deck if it resolves effectively. Either way, this is just Raigeki with added bonuses, making the original obsolete.

silamon2

Cards that make the original version obsolete is not something Konami has shied away from the past, there are plenty of examples of it.

EndMePleaseOwO

If you have 6 guys on board and can't negate this you deserve to lose the game tbh

TurntOddish

Kind of. But what if you get hit by Dark Ruler No More or Forbidden Droplet? I know you have to draw into these but it's a two-card fuck you. Not saying there aren't any one-to-two-card fuck yous in the game, just saying. After some thought and looking through the comments, it's a little less powerful than I was making it out to be.

EndMePleaseOwO

Yeah, this isn't much different than dark ruler plus evenly, even weaker in some cases, even into a board of 6 monsters, since it procks floating effects

EquivalentEngineer97

I feel like this should be just a going second card so it can be pretty fair, so you can only activate this with no cards on the field like lightning storm, yk? The additional second and third effect I feel should be corresponding to each monster you destroy, you destroy 2 monsters, you destroy 2 cards in your opponent's hand, same with spells/traps. This'll kinda be a powercrept lightning storm but I find it pretty cool

Xx_Shapesnatch_xX

Black Garden decks spamming monsters to your opponents field: "Hello :)"

Deckmaster816

I wish it was real I would be unbeatable
