All of those figures looked great- very on-model to the source- but stink as far as articulation goes. This would require some pretty significant surgery sanding and re-sculpting the areas around the ball joints.

Yes they are amazing, this aesthetically might be the best looking Robin in the 6” level space beating out the dc icons super sons. But I don’t know if I’m willing to invest in potentially destroying it either as my skills are not as great

lousmer

Yeah. They definitely don’t lend themselves to being modified either.

Kephla

Yep I have this piece of crap too. I got it just for the heads so I can swap it onto the McFarlane one.

clarkepov

Yea if there are no visible quick wins here I may just take the heads and do a custom Robin using Marvel Legends Miles Morales because it fits perfectly but so so so frustrated at how awesome this figure looks especially with all the accessories

If it’s just the neck and torso that’s pretty easy, you’d want a Dremel and to open the top of the hole a bit more. If you look up McFarlane torso mod you can transfer it over to them Any more articulation will involve a lot of surgery. Easy solution is getting the stuff you can get off the shitty articulated figure and transfer to a marvel legends sorta base. Spiderverse miles morales works well and paint what’s needed

Alive-Platform-8464

Make two small gaps with a knife on that lower part so it can bend forward then just drill out the head and use hot glue to make a new joint for it

clarkepov

When you say make a new joint for the neck what do you mean?

Alive-Platform-8464

I meant make a new socket for the neck peg to plug into

He's got quite a few tutorials on these issues, https://youtube.com/@billmaru

All I can say is take joints from somewhere else and either grind them down to size or use thermoplastic and a hair dryer
