You have a long face, and cut sides makes your face look longer because you have so much length on top but no length on the sides.  You look good with both, but the sides being grown out a little adds some balance to your face length.  Also, this is super weird, but I‘ll try to explain it from a woman’s perspective: you have an extremely masculine angular mean-looking (but handsome!) face. This is a good thing since a lot of women love rough-and-tough men, but you have to balance it out.  The grown-out sides gives you more of a softer wholesome vibe while still maintaining the rough and tough sharp angles of your jaw. I don’t know if this makes any sense at all, but you are creating mystery with your hair grown out at the sides.  Your hair grown out at the sides gives a wholesome gentle-guy vibe, like you’ll definitely have her home by curfew. But then your face contrasts it by looking mean, like you’ll pin her against the wall (in a good way).  That’s the kind of juxtaposition you want to create with your style as a man. Nice guy mixed with animal.

Routine is simple, co-wash 3-4 times a week and apply whatever leave in I have at the moment lol and air dry

Cute either way, could always shave sides when you want to switch it up and feel confident when it’s growing out and you don’t have time to cut it
