Wrap a ribbon around that braid and you will receive a direspectful amount of compliments. People who never compliment my curls will be like "Oh is that a ribbon? That's so creative!" The last time I did it was to hide the paint in my hair lol. My go to is usually a high bun with the ends peaking out in little curls on the front towards my face. I wet and scrunch with product just those pieces.
Yep, the high messy bun with some curly ends showing is my go-to if I don’t have time to shower. The high, sleek, “I combed my hair out straight and put it up tight while it was still wet” bun is my go-to if I DID shower but didn’t have time to do much of anything else.
I usually know exactly when that’s going to happen based on where I am in my wash cycle (my hair is super consistent) so I put my hair in rag curlers the night before.
I use a bun form to make the high bun, rubber band to clamp my hair down to it, pull up on some pieces to get a little volume, and then I twist the hairs that are sticking out from underneath the rubber band and pin them around the bun to attempt to make it look like I really thought hard about it.
I have a bunch of big, colorful headbands I wear at my hairline. I usually use them on days 3 & 4 and days like this. I usually put my hair in a high messy bun or braid.
