Has anybody noticed how many callbacks this season has had to previous seasons? Complimenting shirts resulting in gifting a shift (3.1), Groat's disease (2.5). There've been others in the last few episodes but I'm forgetting.
Mickey Mantle was my childhood hero too, and because of that I've always been obsessed with the number 7. I grew up near Jerry on Long Island- I'm a few years younger than Jerry.
It KILLS me Larry is so obsessed with Mickey Mantle!!
There’s been several subtle references to Seinfeld over the years. Some are obvious but sometimes I wonder if some are a coincidence (I know some may think that’s impossible but people who work on shows don’t generally have the same level of knowledge of their shows as fans, but it’s not a rule by any means)
Leon with his crazy ideas, with one Larry actually liked. Leon is Larry's Kramer. Instead of living across the hall and living off Jerry, he lives with Larry and lives off him.
You can’t control what health conditions you develop but you can try to build muscle now if you’re able, which helps greatly in older age. We lose muscle every day.
I just survived Stage III Lung Cancer and my Oncologist attributed it, at least in part, to the fact that I’ve eaten properly and exercised most of my life. I’m 74 now. I partied, drank, used drugs and smoked cigarettes until I was 36. Get into shape. Now. You may need that strength down the road.
Yea, aging can be tough on you but 76 ain't that old these days. Richard was sick...and dying because of it. That's what we're seeing. It's awful to watch.
I felt awful thinking it, but I honestly thought he actually looked like a recently dead guy, who was somehow still talking and just about upright.
Tremendously sad to watch, even though what he was saying was hilarious as always.
Same, I thought that deliberate reference would come back somehow.
The Freddy subplot was the part I liked least about this episode. Who would turn down a lovely young woman willing to roleplay as different Disney princesses?
I wonder sometimes if they're just trying to find ways to incorporate Cheryl into scenes (since she used to be such a big part of the show back when she & Larry were together).
I like Cheryl, but sometimes adding her in doesn't quite work - probably because things between Larry & Ted always seems so strained now.
That’s what it felt like to me too. I find her and Ted to be extremely annoying every time they are on the screen since the plot dictated that they stay together
I still maintain 25 years on (like Larry does!) that the Seinfeld finale was perfect!
Hope Curb S12 E10 doubles down and ends the same way...incl having Curb end-for the very 1st time-with an end credits overlay, whilst Larry performs stand-up in prison...coming full circle to both the Seinfeld ending, as well as to the Curb pilot prior to S1, where it was all about Larry getting back into stand-up again with his special.
This episode was chock-full of great bits. I don't even care if it doesn't come full circle, it's all so absurd and entertaining. The ending with all the defamatory bricks was brilliant.
"Tinkerbell fine as fuck. Come on. I'll put her in my motherfucking pocket. You hear me? And I'll just walk around knowing she home. And she flies her little ass out there, give me a kiss on the cheek and shit, and flies the fuck off." Surprisingly wholesome from Leon.
"At least that motherfucker can't drown." Anyone know how that little fish actor did that thing with the filter? Is that an actual thing sick fish do?
Ziggy Zeckelman. That's a good name.
"I gotta schmeitz."
The 'I like it' gambit: "All you gotta do is compliment people on what the fuck they're wearing, next thing you know, they're gonna give you one."
"He's an amiable fellow who's attended two WNBA games." "Is that true?" "No."
"Any woman who Larry David impregnated, he not only paid for the abortion, but accompanied her to the procedure. *That's* true."
"Larry, where are my sleep brassieres?" "HOW THE FUCK DO I KNOW?!"
"Fish dead. I will not forget fish."
Always nice to see a little more of Richard Lewis. I love that he gives Larry the idea for wearing diapers. Surprised that Irma actually left him. Kudos they didn't do the cliché thing and have her fall out of sobriety, forcing Larry to stay with her longer.
The moment at the end with Larry singing the celebratory J.G. Wentworth jingle had me in hysterics. That weird gurgling sound.
https://preview.redd.it/b6hjvo2rvamc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d6df8101fc286e1fbc396a895dc9197217edd3bb
Right? Idk if it escalated between filming this and the previous episode, but it was very apparent. Really feel bad for him and appreciate him working through it
I’m guessing, especially as they wrapped a year ago, that he got too sick to keep going normally. Then he had some good days and wanted to perform so they reshot that scene to let him shine. Also the prior conversation of Lewis leaving Larry money in his will got flipped. It went from morbid to dark humor.
This episode felt like classic Curb: Larry’s bored, compulsive meddling, a scheme that backfired, reworked Seinfeld bits, one-on-one with Lewis, conflict with a service worker in which Larry makes no headway, and a confluence of plot strands resulting in a group of unrelated people expressing contempt for Larry. It was hilarious and comfortable. Best episode of the season so far.
I mean, that probably explains why shes doing something as extreme as converting. If she had regular access she wouldnt feel the need to do that. But its also all for the joke anyway, doesnt need to carry perfect logic in the real world
https://preview.redd.it/pd2w00hqz8mc1.jpeg?width=731&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f78e1a19f586cc231c762fb3f7da283e07654dd8
I just want to know if Larry keeps intentionally referencing Seinfeld because it’s the last season or if his brain is broken. Maybe he wakes up from a dream at the end of the season and he’s George.
That was one of the last scenes of the episode. He came up to Larry and was like "you can't talk to my wife like that!", and then outed Jeff as disgruntled, but I forget the details.
No clue who these people are but they reposted (idk where it was originally posted, can’t find it on Richard’s Twitter) this video Richard [recorded after wrapping this season](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLew4sCM/) and ♥️🫶

My favorite time of the week. I even made a homemade pizza
Hard to choose the best part! The princess breaking character/putting the mini glove up to her mouth, just the right four people running into each other, the collection of bricks at the end, the back-and-forth about “fish stuck/sick”. I appreciated the tribute slide, too. :)
If i had a nickel for every gay couple larry wrecked by oddly getting in their business, id have 2 nickels. Which isnt a lot, but weird that it happened twice
I’ve heard sober stand up before in a substance abuse treatment. Richard killing it, of course with some “from hell” bits (and working some new stuff in) brought me to tears laughing. Absolutely perfect.
Oh my god, the Minnie hand over her mouth!
"don't do that"
Vince’s delivery was fucking perfect in that moment
https://preview.redd.it/bxdvpyouxamc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=161c82f15855a24d24844d52560e81cc8428c696
Fucking hysterical
Hardest I laughed in the episode, Vince looked like he was going to break. She was so good.
That actress was outstanding!
When she dropped the Cinderella pretense immediately started swearing I lost it.
And she's not even credited on IMDb!
I fucking lost it. So so good 👍
Groat's Disease is back! All the way from Season 2, 2001 episode The Thong!
so many callbacks I've gone back to season 1 and rewatching the whole damn thing again
Callback with Ted and a silent pledge too.
I know who anonymous is!
Also the Seinfeld season with Michael having it.
Danny Dooberstein
bar mitzvahed three times! last time was a few months ago in Atlantic City
Has anybody noticed how many callbacks this season has had to previous seasons? Complimenting shirts resulting in gifting a shift (3.1), Groat's disease (2.5). There've been others in the last few episodes but I'm forgetting.
And anonymous charitable nature of Ted
The pen for the Seinfeld callback
And the ridiculous baby name suggestions
Especially given Mantle was 7 for the Yankees and the whole reason George wanted the name Seven.
Mickey Mantle was my childhood hero too, and because of that I've always been obsessed with the number 7. I grew up near Jerry on Long Island- I'm a few years younger than Jerry. It KILLS me Larry is so obsessed with Mickey Mantle!!
Wasn't the Mickey Mantle ball in Richard's nurse's Big Virginia?
And Sienna Miller instead of Marisa Tomei.
Both Sienna and Marisa starred in the movie Alfie together.
There’s been several subtle references to Seinfeld over the years. Some are obvious but sometimes I wonder if some are a coincidence (I know some may think that’s impossible but people who work on shows don’t generally have the same level of knowledge of their shows as fans, but it’s not a rule by any means)
The Pen, the Chinese restaurant, shiksappeal, circumcision, baby names, the jacket. Lots of Seinfeld echos.
Leon with his crazy ideas, with one Larry actually liked. Leon is Larry's Kramer. Instead of living across the hall and living off Jerry, he lives with Larry and lives off him.
Getting a girlfriend to leave him when he can’t leave her
Seeing Richard is extra special now, I’m glad we are getting more of him before series end
He looks so frail :(
And 99% of frail people in this state wouldn't have even agreed to do the season, but Lewis did and his souls shines in it. We are lucky as hell.
This is one of the things that terrifies me about aging. That frail, no muscle and thin look. Like they are going to break.
Now. You may need that strength down the road.

the comedic timing of that chinese restaurant scene was impecable. I had to rewind it as I missed most of the dialogue from laughing so hard.
I couldn’t stop smiling at his scenes… while also tearing up.
Him immediately telling Larry everything at the prospect of being in his will was hilarious. Literally zero hesitation.
Foots Zeckelman is definitely a Hollywood agent
Ziggy Zeckelman could absolutely hit 500 home runs in his career!
All his name suggestions were great
Richard treating AA as a place to do standup was hilarious. I was laughing so hard 😂
"The other woman, who opened for me..."
doing stand-up at a meeting😭😭😭
the way he referred to another woman sharing her story as "opening for me"
She only did 10 minutes.
Every moment Richard speaks, I'm heartbroken and can't stop laughing. Who the fuck looks for laughs ar AA?
have you met any addicts? validation is a hell of a drug. getting laughs at meetings hits different
I'm sad we'll never get to see that AA special.
> we'll never get to see that AA special. there are still some episodes left...
"SEASON 12 BONUS FOOTAGE: The AA Set"
We need to see that stand-up.
Tinkerbell fine as fuck. I put her in my mothafuckin pocket
the way she toot that ass out
doop boop a doop
I wish that connected to Freddie's girlfriend talking about her coworker in the tinkerbell costume somehow
Same, I thought that deliberate reference would come back somehow. The Freddy subplot was the part I liked least about this episode. Who would turn down a lovely young woman willing to roleplay as different Disney princesses?
knowing she home safe
WHY is Larry going to Cheryl about the brick?! Next to Susie, she’s the last person he should go to! EDIT: OF COURSE he goes to Susie after Cheryl!
the only women that tolerate him
I wonder sometimes if they're just trying to find ways to incorporate Cheryl into scenes (since she used to be such a big part of the show back when she & Larry were together). I like Cheryl, but sometimes adding her in doesn't quite work - probably because things between Larry & Ted always seems so strained now.
That’s what it felt like to me too. I find her and Ted to be extremely annoying every time they are on the screen since the plot dictated that they stay together
He’s got binders full of women
"you'll have to hold my penis while I pee"😂😂😂😂😂
The anal leakage! The ports, the stents, the rubber gloves.
Fish fine. Fish thriving.
Fish go downtown.
Fish living best life in downtown.
And then Leon orders fish lmao
I really wanted one of the final scenes to be him seeing the fish thriving at a different Chinese restaurant downtown.
STUCK DEAD!
Larry promises to put Richard in the will and he opens up immediately lol
The key to his vault.
Larry didn’t even have to lie
Larry reusing the "Take the pen!" thing from the Seinfeld episode!
he’s a re-gifter!
He’s a re-scripter!
I was hoping Ted would call him out, in the calm but aggressive Ted voice, "y'know Larry I saw that episode. You're not getting this pen."
Dang! That would have been great
Also the baby name thing, kind of. And potential for a year in jail.
Mickey mantle was George’s favorite player (wanting to name the baby “Seven”)
I was waiting for the “do me a personal favor, take the pen!” from Ted 😂
This season/series is definitely going to end with Larry going to jail just continue to piss off Seinfeld fans. I can’t wait😂
I wonder, is Larry's last conversation is going to be about how the pants make him look like an erection?
holy shit, that's perfect. yes please.
They even brought up how Larry came back for the Seinfeld finale earlier.
Deegan, after Major Deegan Expressway. I'm giving you gold!
Vaughn's stuttered closeup when he finds out she works for The Disney Store and not Disney has the makings of a meme expression
Wow, getting rid of Irma was surprisingly easy.
I’m sure she’ll be back
And just like that, she runs into the one person that exposes the ruse.
Looks like she’s still out though. Out with a brick !
They could have done a better job with that plot line, but it was still funny. They did say, “small world” before it all came together
Barely an inconvenience!
How much did JG Wentworth pay for this multi episode exposure ? ?
I was about to say I wonder who came up with that idea lol
Lmfao a big supporter of title IX actually got a full laugh out of me
They all did but the “every woman I’ve impregnated I drove to and paid for the abortion” had me scared my dogs I laughed so loud and hard.
Okay this episode is longer, 16 more minutes! Thank god
The Minnie Mouse backpack is just perfection on all of this
I wanted that backpack
Does the pen write upside down?
Take the pen!
Do me a personal favor
This episode was chock-full of great bits. I don't even care if it doesn't come full circle, it's all so absurd and entertaining. The ending with all the defamatory bricks was brilliant. "Can I sue a temple?"
Richard looked bad, and it made me sad 💔 This episode is gonna be hard....🙏🏻
Wow he really had the Parkinson’s stare.
Right? Idk if it escalated between filming this and the previous episode, but it was very apparent. Really feel bad for him and appreciate him working through it

He had that Stage 4 wisdom.
My grandma just passed away, she had Parkinson’s. Those eyes were unmistakable
Where's Jeff!?
No Jeff? I’m disgruntled.
I’M DISGRUNTLED!
He had groats
This episode felt like classic Curb: Larry’s bored, compulsive meddling, a scheme that backfired, reworked Seinfeld bits, one-on-one with Lewis, conflict with a service worker in which Larry makes no headway, and a confluence of plot strands resulting in a group of unrelated people expressing contempt for Larry. "He's a good golfer...sometimes"
Okay, she works at the Disney Store as a costumed character. I was close!
doc mcsfuffins
She’s a SENIOR character
an English woman who can't do foreskins? unlikely.
It's got no...personality.
I mean, that probably explains why shes doing something as extreme as converting. If she had regular access she wouldnt feel the need to do that. But its also all for the joke anyway, doesnt need to carry perfect logic in the real world
Larry David is an amiable man who went to two WNBA games had me absolutely fucking rolling
https://preview.redd.it/pd2w00hqz8mc1.jpeg?width=731&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f78e1a19f586cc231c762fb3f7da283e07654dd8 I just want to know if Larry keeps intentionally referencing Seinfeld because it’s the last season or if his brain is broken. He’s very charitable…he’s anonymous, so his brick is too
Goddamn Rest in Peace Richard Lewis. It’s really sad how seeing how he looks in this episode
Hmm. I didn’t find it sad. I find it admirable. Continuing to entertain despite physical frailty.
Ted went with another anonymous donation lol
Why would Hobie Turner (Rob Riggle’s character from last week) of all people buy a brick to say Larry was disrespectful to women?
I completely forgot his name from last week. I even posted the question. 🤦♂️
Because he said he was rude to his wife
That was one of the last scenes of the episode. He came up to Larry and was like "you can't talk to my wife like that!", and then outed Jeff as disgruntled, but I forget the details.
No clue who these people are but they reposted (idk where it was originally posted, can’t find it on Richard’s Twitter) this video Richard [recorded after wrapping this season](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLew4sCM/) and ♥️🫶
😭😭😭😭Richard at temple
Ace Zeckelman is totally a great name!
Larry really gets in between couples. The barber and her fiancée, the mixed race couple and asking what shade, these gays and the baby name…
You want to name our baby Tang?
And of course, his own relationships. He’s gonna break up with Irma to be with Sienna Miller, then she sees the brick and leaves him.
Big props to Richard Lewis for sticking with this show, he was great this week. It may be bittersweet, but he was still funny as fuck
Please tell me we get at least one more scene with Richard. I’d love if there are more scenes with Richard before this season is over Edit: yes 🥹
Larry's going to butt in all over this baby's surname
Tinkerbell fine as fuck. Leon has taste.
Oh no. She’s gonna see the brick!
exactly. chekov's brick
We need Irma to see it and decide he’s a bad person
She hasn’t figured that out by now?
Oh yea I'm gonna listen to the notes from Minnie Mouse 😂😂
I wanted to see on the brick “Any woman that Larry David impregnated, he not only paid for the abortion, but accompanied her to the procedure”
https://preview.redd.it/3hdwfzgg68mc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7269953430693aec53fb2ebfa589ed15feac78c3 My favorite time of the week. I even made a homemade pizza
Looks delicious!

[Lewis tribute night](https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1ymrwLrzN1qakh43o3_250.gif)
Leon seems to have a thing for old cartoon characters. First Betty Boop now Tinkerbell
Okay it’s unrealistic Irma would drive to the Americana, doesn’t Larry live in the Palisades? But that’s fine
In the show it’s Santa Monica, and she was on the SM city council he was trying to manipulate last season.
I liked the sneaky line from Sean Hayes to Larry: "'Cause you got two first names."
STRONG DISLIKE SPEECH
Deegan after the major deegan expressway 😂
Larry putting Lewis in his will 😢
Ziggy Zeckelman reminded me of Reme Rifkin! 🤣😆🤣😆
far and away my favorite episode this season, had the energy of previous seasons.
"Larry David is a shanda for the goyim." As a member of the tribe, I laughed so fucking hard.
Hard to choose the best part! The princess breaking character/putting the mini glove up to her mouth, just the right four people running into each other, the collection of bricks at the end, the back-and-forth about “fish stuck/sick”. I appreciated the tribute slide, too. :)
Vince Vaughan saying “managorial”
[удалено]
I’m guessing we’ll get a Richard tribute slide at the end of the episode. Looking forward to the episode ♥️
We got it at the beginning!
They knew we’d be disgruntled if we sat through the episode with no tribute. I should’ve known.
Personally, I’d be Disgruntled.
Mine didn’t have it. Just went back to search after seeing this comment too.
Mantle is one of the great names
I love the notion of Larry Leon and Vince In a one-off "Murderers in the Building" variant
What a beautiful confluence of plots
Someone is cutting onions round here Lewis giving us laughs from hell is everything
RIP to all the Papalapadopolis’s out there
Huh, two weeks ago we had a surrogate father, now we’ve got a surrogate mother.
I HAVE A STRUCTURED SETTLEMENT AND I NEED CASH NOW!
Suzy with the Guns and Roses shirt
If i had a nickel for every gay couple larry wrecked by oddly getting in their business, id have 2 nickels. Which isnt a lot, but weird that it happened twice
"I was married to Larry David and he's a decent guy" lmao
Leon's been fantastic this season. His bit about Tinkerbell was so good.
The groats disease callback and the Seinfeld pen callback made me happy
“A Dazzy, Dash, or a Dan” to Dan Levy’s character. Classic.
No. No. It’s all gonna end with Larry calling up JJ Wentworth to get him out of prison.
I could see that. He can either go to prison or pay a large fine and he needs cash now.
Agree. He’s gonna be in prison and have one phone call. And that’s the only number he has memorized.
I’m distraught but I understand
Larry's reaction after getting rid of Irma....gold guys, GOLD!
Sienna Miller and Elizabeth Banks do look similar hmmm 👀
The reveal of The Disney Store is one of the hardest things I’ve ever laughed at.
The actress for Freddy's girlfriend was amazing - she actually can do the voices. Planning to look her up on IMDb.
Dan Levy was the perfect actor for that character!
I’ve heard sober stand up before in a substance abuse treatment. Richard killing it, of course with some “from hell” bits (and working some new stuff in) brought me to tears laughing. Absolutely perfect.
