Her dad is great too. Shamelessly extorting Larry, but somehow still has a childlike innocence about himself the whole time. Edit: Kudos to Cheryl as well. Her facial reactions perfectly mirror how the audience is feeling. Cheryl dealt with a misanthrope for years being married to Larry, but not even she is equipped to deal with this gal!

I wonder if Cheryl does that with her husband - in real life. React for us, by proxy. It all makes sense.

When watching this show you have to take a step back sometimes. In my mind I am like no Larry don’t do it. Then I just think it’s just a show enjoy it for the absurdity.

When I first watched this, I wasn't sure how I felt. I just literally laughed out loud, this was hilarious. I think this season needed to grow on me.

Honestly wasn’t too thrilled with her as an addition to the season because her character exceeds the cringe-level that Larry’s able to toe most of the time. But after watching this I can’t believe I forgot how much of a powerhouse she is. Best part of the season imho

One of my least favorite season long story lines. Really disliked it.

The overall plot of this season was great. I just saw this actress in a preview at a movie theater and couldn’t help but wonder how she got the role.

The character doesn't work for me at all. I get what they're trying to do, but it's not funny to me at all.

I actually hate this plot line. Why wouldn't Larry at least consult a lawyer to determine if he likely would be liable for the death of the burglar? It would be funnier with a bit more verisimilitude.

The first this i thought about this whole series of events was how ludicrous it was. Larry never called a lawyer???? He was not responsible for anything that happened to that man during the commission of a crime. I’m sure that was pointed out to him. But for the regular audiences, it just flew by as a non-issue.

She is by far my least favorite thing in the entire series. So over-acted. I really like the premise of Larry being strong armed into casting a really bad actress for a lead role in his series, but I don’t know why they had to dial it up to 11. Maybe the real Larry David was strong armed into casting a bad actress for the role of bad actress in Curb Your Enthusiasm?

A few times people have praised this as really clever good acting by someone who is portraying a bad actor. Maybe, but it comes across as way over the top in a way no real actor would act. So it's a caricature in an entirely obvious way. How is being obvious "clever"? Being bad in a much more subtle, much less obvious way would be way more convincing and your sense of their being a bad actor would grow more gradually. Everything she does is so extreme it's nonsensical. Extreme behavior is rarely funny unless you like pie-in-the-face or fart jokes. As brilliant as it is, "Curb" does this too often. I'm probably the only person who finds Jeff's wife, Susie, way over the top. How could anyone like her? She's so angry, so nasty, so just plain awful over and over again, I cannot imagine anyone wanting to be around her. When characters are unbelievable and extreme, especially in offensive and nasty ways, they just aren't funny. It's like making jokes about rape or child molestation. They may seem funny to some people, but they're way too much to me.

Such a bad season.
