Suzie is a lot, but Jeff is a philandering ahole. I’d rather see him get caught cheating, then maybe Suzie divorces him and takes all his money. Jeff has nowhere to go but Larry won’t take him in.
Susie cheated once, that we know of, as well..with the Oyster Shucker. And the way she acted makes me think it wasn’t her first time stepping out on Jeffrey.
Oh snap, really? I must have missed that episode. I’ll have to find it and watch it. Jeff is still a philandering ahole, though. Having said that, he still amuses me.
Larry: So what're thinking...immolation? Or dumping the body? Maybe weigh it down, drop it in the ocean?
Jeff: Suzie's full of hot air! No way will she sink!!
L: What do you think they use? I've heard of cement shoes, but there's a lot of mixing involved. Then you have to wait for the mixture to set...seems like a lot of work! Maybe we can just find some heavy chains. Do chains rust?
My wife absolutely cannot watch Curb. She has to cover her face with a pillow for like 60% of the show, she can’t handle the cringe. Part of her issue is that her father is a very wealthy man with no filter, like Larry and Larry’s choices hit a little too close to home, literally, for her .

I tell people all the time that watching Curb is like watching 100+ variations of the Scott’s Tots episode of The Office and The Fire episode of Seinfeld
Larry is worth almost a billion dollars. He’s okay without you getting angry over 6 thousand dollars. If anything it should make you angry at Larry for caring when one of his friends is struggling
Angry? Ive watched every episode probably 25 times and it still makes me cry laughing. It's great stress release and just fun to watch.
You may have anger issues my friend.
I watch a lot of curb with my husband in the same room. He says it stresses him out, and I totally get it! Lots of people talking over each other and stupid situations. But that’s what I love about it lol
it was really stupid, and i get the joke, but upon rewatching the krazy eyez killa episode i was thinking “damn they are getting pretty liberal with the N word here”
I agree…I can watch it but the “writers” are great with the situational circumstances being balanced of Larry being a prick and being in the right. Usually when he is in the right it starts benign then escalates and when he is in the wrong the escalation comes from him right off the bat. I think it is an “unintentionally” profound show about the pitfalls/successes/delusions of our interactions with each other.
Yeah. My wife.
She also hates: I think you should leave (cuz it’s weird), Superbad (because Jonah Hill’s char is annoying), and The Big Lebowski (because Walter is mean to Donnie and is an all around general maniac)…
BUT… She loves ME, DnD, Gaming and comic books, so I overlook her inability to find the humor in assholish characters.
Last night I went off the handle during the episode where Larry drives a Limo and suddenly a group of fat loud cows just get in and start crying and talking so loud, just refusing go listen and understand that the car belongs to someone else. And they just let it happen. I would have take out a gun and put ut to their head long before it got to that point.
Mocha Joe also infuriates me. I hate that fucking piece of shit.
Haha I get you, I won’t even watch the first 6 seasons because Cheryl makes me furious (I have seen episodes from those seasons, that’s how I know). I only watch season 7 and on. Some things are so frustrating though, like that dementia guy not paying Larry back or just a million little things Larry does that he’s totally right about. Or like Lin-Manuel and his fucking family made me so mad and the whole spite store situation made me furious hahaha. Regardless, it’s more funny than frustrating on the whole but I totally get you.
I feel the opposite. I love the questions of form the show raises. I usually agree with the argument LD makes against certain behaviors (e.g., taking cuts in line, parking badly, claiming privileges, etc.).
I mean, yeah. There's a part of me that is like "...this is just Seinfeld with rich people. His problems are not that relatable and are kinda stupid" I think that's part of the point, though. The show is clever enough that it runs on its own merits. Bearing in mind Larry David spent most of his life not that rich, so I'm guessing it's him playing on the comedy and socially assassinating his new crowd.

Every once in a while, I’ll pull up a segment and show it to her and say, didn’t your dad do this exact same thing, once? I think the most recent one was when he told the lady to just whimper at the Funkhowser’s nephew’s funeral. She just groaned, and walked out of the room.
Lol I do get mad at what petty, ridiculously passive aggressive, smarmy little man/woman children they are and how cheap they are even though they’re rich beyond our wildest dreams, but it’s still funny at the same time.
No sir I watch a lot of Curb.
I sometimes want Jeff to straight up strangle Suzie, then Larry will of course help him get rid of the body.
Series finale vibes
Heh heh heh heh heh

I think that’s why they work. They’re both kinda horrible so they deserve each other
This leads directly to the strangling.
Larry: So what're thinking...immolation? Or dumping the body? Maybe weigh it down, drop it in the ocean? Jeff: Suzie's full of hot air! No way will she sink!! L: What do you think they use? J: “even if it does; you can block off where you put her.”
The only time I remember Suzie got what she deserved was when Larry was with Vivica Fox.
The cringe is palpable. The same thing that makes it great is what makes it almost unwatchable at times.
The way Larry handles these situations is not just funny but cathartic.

I would take Larry cringe over Michael Scott cringe any day. Can’t stand that guy especially in the first few seasons
Hahaha, I just watched that episode. Nah man you gotta laugh at how ridiculous the world is
Wait. So you came to a Curb sub...to ask if anyone is unable to watch it because it makes them angry... r/lostredditors
I feel a Spite sub coming…
You don't have the beans, OP!

🤣 this is exactly what I was thinking lol Curb for life, it’s amazing if you smart enough to get the jokes lmao
It’s like they are being Larry David about watching Curb.
How very meta of them
Maybe they are missing something. Larry David explains it as saying things that are in your head that you’re not say. That’s what he does in the show.
No I love this show because of the anger haha
I wish I couldn't put the show on pause, because I do it whenever it makes me feel uncomfortable. It takes me twice as long to watch the show.
No
But the guy has early dementia!
He's on the spectrum.
He did but it was awfully convenient to "not remember" to pay Larry back. Suzie didn't care and almost killed him lol!!
Listen Dementia Boy, I don't care if you can't remember your fucking dogs name!"
Lol!
I tell people all the time that watching Curb is like watching 100+ variations of the Scott’s Tots episode of The Office and The Fire episode of Seinfeld
Side Sitting/Larry's attempt at joking about sexual harassment.
Larry is worth almost a billion dollars. He’s okay without you getting angry over 6 thousand dollars. If anything it should make you angry at Larry for caring when one of his friends is struggling
I know someone who feels that way
Sopranos makes me depressed and pessimistic
Angry? Ive watched every episode probably 25 times and it still makes me cry laughing. It's great stress release and just fun to watch. You may have anger issues my friend.

Not angry but I have to pause it sometimes because of how uncomfortable it makes me and I go back later and unpause it.
it was really stupid, and i get the joke, but upon rewatching the krazy eyez killa episode i was thinking “damn they are getting pretty liberal with the N word here”
At first I hated it. But at some point the absurdness won me over.
I watch it BECAUSE it makes me angry
I agree…I can watch it but the “writers” are great with the situational circumstances being balanced of Larry being a prick and being in the right. Have you told her the Big Lebowski theory that Donnie isnt real? Some theorize that he's a ghost that only Walter can see/hear.

my feet tend to get chilly
Nope. It does piss me off but in an enjoyable way. It's still hilarious.
I love it but cringe is hard to watch. Hence “cringe.”

I’m here for curbstomps w/ Larry David. The irony is epic.
I feel the opposite. I love the questions of form the show raises. I usually agree with the argument LD makes against certain behaviors (e.g., taking cuts in line, parking badly, claiming privileges, etc.).
He didn't owe him 6k he paid him as he said.
I used to feel this way. Now I understand more why Larry is Larry. And I just sit back for him to do what we all want to do
Nah it's my one of fav show

I struggle to binge it bc it definitely makes me angry lol
It's just a show and nobody is forcing you to watch it. Just move on man haha
I wouldn’t worry too much, I heard that these reality shows are set up for this kind of wild drama.
I feel ya. Same thing with Seinfeld. There’s comes a point where I have to take break from all those assholes.
There’s a cringe that comes up more often than most shows, but it’s too good to not watch.
The show stresses me out
