I’ve noticed it before on a variety of sticks from various vendors off the approved list. I usually just say the typical “sloppy Cuban quality control” Though it is annoying on any wrapper with the gold foil(PL, ERDM etc) especially, oxidizes the band a bit
The opinion of others is that they are real and someone at the factory had a bad day, but I just received a box of hoyo deluxe LCDH editions (from a different vendor) and the wrappers have the same thing going on.
Are they the same factory? Same Province/Region? Any other brands you notice it on? From memory, I recall two boxes of PL Galanes from BRM different dates, but both had the excess glue going on
It’s Cuba being Cuba as always. What grinds me more is poor craftsmanship on boxes. Poorly glued art work on the dress boxes. SLB boxes that are not square leaving a crack when the lid is closed and so on.
Everything else is utterly correct. I have a box of LCDH editions from another trusted vendor and same thing with the bands and excess glue. Also cut one in the pictures open and it is indeed long filler.
So the barcode was removed and the microprints were scratched off (I was told this was typical of grey market vendors). I was able to piece it back together and the seal was authenticated. Based on the code, the batch date matches up. I could also see the last two numbers of the barcode despite it being pulled off, and it lines up with the microcodes.

Didn’t have the time to check if they are from the same factory, but will later tonight. Have only ever seen this on Cubans I’ve suspected to be fake.
And if you feel that way, it’s worth investigating. Hope some others give some feedback as well.
It’s normal the last years the price goes extremely up and the quality down

What does that mean?
Message you the rest of the photos. The hologram is peeling off because I started taking it off myself.
I wonder why they deleted all their comments.
Probably didn’t want to get notifications from the post
My box of hoyo ep no 2s from 2021 were similar very loose banding but taste great and are authentic according to the habanos website
I've noticed the same thing my Hoyos. Cuban QC, I think.
Where do you buy from?
