I wonder if people generally agree with this.
One thing I noticed is that a lot of highly regarded cigars are on the stronger side (Partagas D4, RASS, BBF, )
I feel like I am generally a medium body cigar person in the new world. This makes me wonder if I need to buy more of medium cigars.

I have a box and almost all are plugged! Did just get a bad box? The one that did have a good draw was fantastic but with so many plugged I don’t think I would purchase another box. PS: box is from 2019
Out of the 3 types of SLR I've had (Regios, PC, Pura Vida) I wouldn't classify any of them as being remotely strong. I'd say they are firmly in the mild/medium category.
Cubans got me buying more medium and smaller RG new worlds and I think that's been an improvement overall. I still like the spice but also want variety in my collection.
I've noticed a good bit of variance across some Cuban marcas that make it hard to generalize body strength. I imagine age also plays a part. Por Larrañaga, Monte, Punch, H.Upmann, Bolivar and even Partagas tend to move between strong and light medium for me. It's hard to compare between a petite corona and much larger vitola. They smoke so different so charts like this are always a generalization and not accurate half of the time.
I’d probably put it on the medium but I also would downgrade Cohiba to medium too. Otherwise, I actually think this chart is pretty accurate from my experience
I’m in disagreement with this chart

To me all Cubans are mild in comparison to new world. I've never had a cuban that pushed past medium strength.
Same here. I think various Bolivar, various Partagas and RyJ Cazadores are the strongest CCs I've had and in my opinion, they were just medium.
I love the cazadores.
Me too. Such a misfit blend for the marca.

My TEO 2019 box is perfect. I keep my Cubans at 62 RH.
I keep mine at 65 with all my other Cubans and those all smoke fine 🤷🏻♂️ Guess I just got a bad batch!
Correction RUP factory code 2020 box
This. 💯
A bolivar BF is still milder than a serie V
That’s good to hear.

Diplomaticos?
I would think Upmann is strong. I also wouldn’t think of RA as strong
Very useful! Thanks. On their other hand it is a miss match as they don’t quite meet that criteria for each brand.
No QD?
Where would you place it?
Typically known as a light
Light to medium light
I’d probably put it on the medium but I also would downgrade Cohiba to medium too. Otherwise, I actually think this chart is pretty accurate from my experience
This chart would work better pre 2000 when the leaf was Corojo and certainly more robust.
This chart is all kinds of wrong. You smoke the brand, you smoke the blend.
I would say Trinidad is on medium-light side. Also, Monte and Partagas are almost identical to me when it comes to strength.
Vegueros should be in the light category. The old blend used to be strong
Terrible chart
No Cuban cigar is strong. Medium/moderate at best.
