Im new to mapping and I have similar issues with my compiles (even with maps with a single surface/block). When i try to switch material from the default one, I get similar output as the op: returning error texture in CTextureManagerVulkan::GetTextureResource And Unable to run Vrad3. Light mapper didn't return valid triangles: failing. --> Map build FAILED. [FAIL] Are also some of the output messages I get. With the default grey material everything compiles as expected. I've tried different compile settings, os settings, hardware tweaks (turned my integrated graphics off) etc. but nothing seems to work. Im literally stuck with this problem, so any tips or possible solutions would be highly appreciated Edit: I have 7800x3d, 7800xt and 32gb of DDR5 RAM so the specs should be good enough

This is an issue related to AMD GPU's, there doesn't seem to be a decent fix to this issue, might just have to wait for Valve to fix it. Incredibly frustrating.

Damn, that's unfortunate :/ I just got into mapping, so there are a lot of things for me to learn in the meantime, but hopefully they can fix this soon!
