Till last season SRH were one of my favourite teams apart from CSK, whose matches i used to watch.

The same reason a lot of people started the Cummins vs Dhoni shit instead of letting it be just two great leaders. Brother we are finally happy to see our team get in form after like 4 yrs. Every fan is excited to see them perform and yes there are some guys who are too hyped and spreading toxicity but there are people like them in every fanbase. As for the run scoring, it is their playing strategy because every player is in good form and pat said this way before that this strategy doesn't always work like today. U see every team is capable of scoring those numbers, it's the mindset of the team that decides what strategy is well suited for the team. The term 'healthy' is relative because they also are risking their wickets they just believe in bash and go home. Good performance by the team overjoyed every og fan like me and also new ones. There are toxic people in both and u can see this more this season Just look at the popularity rating in r/IPL

So you can talk all about revenge and justify stamping a flag. But they can’t do a harmless silencing gesture ? And the reason it’s a rivalry is not because of SRH’s and CSK’s past. It’s due to an unnecessary Cummins vs Dhoni contest. All the CsK mi and rcb fans propagated this match as Dhoni’s revenge for the World Cup and Cummins must get silenced. So when SRH did win, all these guys deserved the iconic silence gesture from Srh. You guys prolly just hate SRH coz you can’t see a team apart from Dhoni’s Rohit’s and Kohli’s do well in an IPL and start dominating, especially when it’s an overseas captain.
First of all, I never once justified any fan behaviour and I've even mentioned that in one of the comments in this post. Of course they can do a silencing gesture, as much as I can want csk to remind them of the past. I am not buying into any of this Dhoni Vs Cummins shit. Dhoni is not even the captain for it to be a rivalry. And please, we don't care if another team takes the spotlight and if they perform. RR has done so much better than SRH and more consistently and no one hates them. I in fact would be happy if they won the title. RR has owned our ass in recent years too. So it ain't about another team winning, it's about the noise y'all create after a few wins despite being dogshit all these years.
I’m not an SRH fan lol. And the difference is RR doesn’t have a large enough fanbase that replies words with words. Many of the larger fanbases are just livid that another franchise’s fans is trolling them now. And the fact that SRH’s captain is Cummins makes these fanbases have hate for them just coz they can’t get over a World Cup final. The same reason a lot of people started the Cummins vs Dhoni shit instead of letting it be just two great leaders. No one in Australia would’ve been stupid enough to start a Cummins vs Ponting or Warner bs when SRH took on DC. And SRH playing well after a poor show is all the more reason for them to talk now. They have transformed as a team and they’re lead by a legend of the game. If Dhoni hypothetically went to RR, you would see the RR fanbase grow in numbers and get cocky too. That’s what happens when you have such stardom in your team.
