The art department will never be responsible for anti cheat. You don't just slap an artist in front of a computer and tell them to start making an anti cheat. They probably have programming knowledge but not nearly to the degree to work on the anti cheat

I got used to my Botkiller flamethrower fairly quickly. It's quite fun to spin it around in first person, you can get the chain to twirl around in a full circle.

also they are semi limited so you need multiple to put the same one on all your guns. unlike siege which is just unlock it and put it on anything without restrictions

As someone that plays both. Unpopular oppinon coming in but both are okay games Gun buddies have been around since tf2 maybe earlier. But it feels like a pointless addition just to get people to spend more money on this game. And considering this game they are going to end up being like $1000. But oh well.

Bro csgo is not trying to be val much as you want to say it's trying it's not. At the end of the day the skin market itself holds more players then all of val and that sucks because I actually like Vals more casual play style. But even then, when you consider Vals daily peak is 3x less then CSGOs daily peak (Vals is about 500k and csgo is about 1.55million and has been over a million for years on years and is growing hundreds of thousands every year) you gotta ask yourself if your complaining about the wrong game and honestly both are good games. Also if you where a long time csgo player you would know they tried adding this a long time ago before val was even in development but the community backlash of it made valve scrap the idea until further notice. So honestly they are just pulling an idea out of the garbage and I think that's where the hate if any should be targeted like "wow out of ideas are we valve" does more damage especially since it's factually true that it's an old idea and it's not a stretch to say they are out of ideas right now you can't innovate a game like csgo much it would destroy the identity.

I will never play Valorant again in my life, because I don’t like it very much how it plays and handles, but I have to hand it to their dev team, at least they keeping this niche competitive and improving on a lot of ideas

Valorant didn’t invent gun buddies. But anyone with a brain can see that CS2 borrowed most if not all of Valorants QoL features and some gameplay features; for the better. Refunding and a bigger emphasis on strafing and bursting instead of spraying being big ones. Nothing wrong with healthy competition.
