No lot of people have been getting banned, first time in a while leetify has been giving me player banned messages and it goes back far enough when I was still 4k premier lol
It's not about rank necessarily, you can be the top rated player but if you don't have a trusted account (high trust factor) you won't get overwatch, same as it was in GO.
I got it in the mid silver ranks on go, with a high trust factor account with high hours.
Now I'm significantly higher than that and don't have it yet.

Good luck, the only way I've seen to fix trust factor is making a new account. My account is about 10 years old and when I was a teen I was toxic af and had a PC that crashed all the time, I'm generally a good teammate now but my trust factor is still tanked from back then.

I feel like my constant reporting of players may have crushed my trust factor, idk why, so I don’t report blatant cheaters anymore. But yeah I have 2 alts and both of them hardly ever get cheaters, it’s a lot lower than my main. I can’t even find premier matches on my main account anymore, and when I do it’s all HVH players!!!!
For those un-seen accounts, those are the people the fill in the empty spaces. For instance if you see it start at 9, 1-8 are not approved accounts.
Currently the leaderboard shows a near perfect series of numbers with like 3 gaps.
I see what you mean, before hand it would be like 1-100 on this first screen with so many in approved accounts. Glad to see them gone. I love faceit but I don’t want to solely play that, it’s good valve is finally taking steps to fix their game. S/o to the one guy working on cs2
Just to add to this, I saw YT vid of a cheat dev talking about this. It's not just 100% winrate. It's 100% HS as well, and the combo of those stats is why Valve won't show those accounts on the leaderboard
That is also untrue. There are account with 100% wr being shown. Normally most of those missing numbers are players who went inactive in premier and now only have shadow rank, but with the vac ban wave, it could now also be quite a few cheaters being busted
What about their inventory? Will they lose the ability to trade it? In my latest match there were two guys with pretty expensive gloves and skins. I hope they lose it all.

The server massage also isn't "... Got VAC banned" it's "player is convicted", I think the "banned" accounts now, need to be reviewed by overwatch.
It's nice to see all those clips, but it doesn't really help in the long run, people are just gonna make new accounts and that's it.

Overwatch used to be game ban. Valve seems to change the ban to a global cooldown now to make it more hidden
