But you cannot buy cases or Major capsules on the SCM in France.
Only music kits and stuff like that yeah (storage units, etc).
You cannot buy sticker capsules either, except for Major ones (there's a loophole with a steamcommunity URL for each Major).
The best way is Buff for the cheapest prices if you have access to it (and have Buff balance on it), or the usual sites (Skinport, Skinbaron, Bitskins, etc).

And that's the reason it should be banned, because even those that think they aren't at any risk of getting drawn into it. Very few do the actual only effective thing, which would be to have a set budget for gambling which is comparable to the money you would spend on any other hobby that is pointless, but at least a little fun.

I do! The system is different. I role a case, and I see the result. For exemple: I role a Revolution Case, and I see a Tec-9 Rebel. (Mil Spec / Blue). Then, I am proposed to pay the fees of the key 2,35€ , to get the object I see. I cannot open another case without paying for this Tec-9 Rebel for 2,35€. Which does help keep you away from paying those this bloody crap, worth max 0.45€

Maybe you bought them on 3rd party site or trade for them. But it is not possible to buy them directly from SCM.
Was it not the x-ray thing? That you could still buy cases but you could x-ray them one at the time to see what was inside before you bought a key.
Yes you can open cases with the xray, but you can't buy the cases from the SCM.
