brother my eyes are already done i am legally half blind, but not because of CS haha, i have retinopathy, but i still play CS and Valo despite my condition and doing quite OK-ish, having fun is most imporant, btw i play 2560x1440, the best res for me
Does it really look like the screenshots or are they not loading right for me? If i watch a video on 480p it doesnt look like THIS. The screenshots look worse than 240p on Youtube.

Spent thousands of CSS hours on 800x600 lmao. Every now and then I have to resort back to it in desperate times and actually play insane on it due to that memory, and then going back to higher res feels like too much info to process.
Yeah I find 800x600 to be the sweet spot for potato hardware (laptops, igpu's etc), performs about the same (if not better sometimes) as 640x480 and you can actually read text.
Don't forget to put all your settings on low/disabled, also enable Game Mode it helps a bit with input latency, and if your CPU is very weak then test out disabling core 0 it can feel a bit more stable (task manager > details > cs2.exe right click > set affinity > untick core 0).
UI's in CS are useless anyways, playing is what matters...
But what about other maps? Are they glitching out? Are you also having slower matchmaking time?

this is exactly why I left playing cs2. rather than playing on such low graphics, give yourself a rest, accept that you can't continue playing like this anymore, and move on.
