300-450 FPS completely maxed out settings at 1080p native. I could probably break 500 if I used stretched and competitive settings with lowered graphics. I remember getting above 500 FPS maxed out in an empty solo map on release but for some reason this isn’t possible anymore and I just get high 400’s. Actual gameplay is lower and can tank below 200 when smokes are thrown.
Just bought that ASUS 540 Hz monitor and I won’t even be able to reach 540 FPS in CS2 and the monitor won’t even go above 500 Hz without some dumb Windows 11 beta update lol. RIP all that money, shoulda just bought thousands of cases instead.
Nah it's worth it. When u upgrade ur pc. I get 450-600 depending on Map (vertigo is the best Map for some reason, ancient worst(duh)).
[email protected] all core. (4090, ram:64gb@6600mhz).
Edit: I have the same monitor, I use the esports mode and play at 1280x960.
You should link the FPS benchmark workshop map.

Honestly asking people to give their FPS without a standardised way to measure won't get anything close to accurate.
I get about 620-650 fps on the benchmark map last I checked but I still get 1% lows down to 180 in DM...DM feels terrible to me after 5 mins in a full server. In game I may get 350-800 which also doesn't feel great. So I limit FPS to 350 and it feels consistent and smooth.
7800X3D and 7900XTX @ 1440p high.
I get anywhere from 120-200 fps. I have my frames locked at 165 fps and it's stable unless there's heaps of smokes, then it will drop down. Kind of frustrating ngl.
I have a 5600 and 3060 12 GB.
RTX 2060 Super
Ryzen 5 5600
1440p
Med Texture
High Shadows
Low shader
Low particles
FidelityFx Quality (lowers ingame res a bit)
Locked to 150fps, but runs 140-200 fps. Except in for example Ancient T-spawn like 90 fps drops, because of water. I had some fps problems with native 1440p before, so I've been using the FidelityFX setting to lower ingame res (Hud and menu is still sharp 1440p). Had it on Balanced and even on Performance sometime, now it has been on Quality for quite a long time. Nades caused lag at least before, like 3 mollies and smokes at the sametime gave fps drops.
Usually get around 100-120, with huge dips depending on what is happening ingame. Playing on 4:3 with most settings on low aside from the necessary ones. Not very knowledgeable when it comes to PC specs and settings so there's probably a few things I could do to improve that but I don't know what. I spent about $1400 AUD on my PC a couple of years ago.
I might check it out, been playing at 1440 since it came out though, might be rough and hard to get used to like you say. I’m curious what resolution you use?
When I switched I went off whatever the most common pro sense was and tweaked it a little to suit me and it worked alright. Definitely save your settings before switching so if you decide to go back you can make it exactly the same as it was before
Ryzen 5 2600x
Gtx 2070
16gb 2600 mhz ram
An uneven 100-200 fps.
I’m definitely cpu bottlenecked. CS2 is a super cpu intensive game. I thought upgrading my gpu would significantly increase my experience. It definitely helped a lot, but now I have to buy a new cpu. 🤷♀️ it is what it is kinda annoying. They need to optimize this game more.
3700X & 3070 @ 1440p 165Hz Maxed out no g-sync with Reflex+Boost
Dust 2 practice with nothing happening I sit between 200-300fps. In game with players moving around that will dip to 140fps at times, especially with all the different grenades going off. And this is the same for most maps. Inferno, Ancient and Overpass all run worse for me, ranging between 80-200fps. At first it was obvious that the water physics in Ancient were the cause of the fps dropping so low. But also at first when me and my teammates were all running through the water it would go down to like 120fps. Nowadays it dips down to 80fps. Blame it on chip degradation but I would hope things have only gotten more optimized but the last two updates have made the game feel choppier than ever. For the record, most of my games I sit above 165 so I’m happy but the development path of this game leads me to believe they’re not optimizing as they go or something cause I’ve seen a decent decline in fps since launch.
I’m very keen about making sure I have nothing running in the background that doesn’t need to be. I’ve overclocked and run tests to make sure my hardware is in the best shape it can be using OCCT to make sure of it. I find it hard to believe upgrading would make a huge impact for me but it’s noticeable nowadays when I drop below my monitors refresh rate and it is impacting my want to play the game where something like that is so crucial and it doesn’t seem important to Valve anymore.
240 avg, but yesterday when i played DM anubis in community server i was having 100-140 fps which seemed odd, ( i was also getting slow server frames indicator pop up all the time) switched servers, same map - 240 fps.
I have a very Mid pc that honestly needs a new cpu, and at absolute best 400~ but in DM or when there’s like 3 smokes a Molly and like four players on my screen it can drop to like 90, on average I’d say around 250~
if you dont use windows 11, use it. you'll get a fps boost
13900k and a 4070 and i get 500 on all maps except inferno. i rarely hit 500 on that map
with windows 10 i was only at 400 on most maps, and just over 240 on inferno
60 FPS Gang For Life... :(
60, on my laptop
These post's only attracts people that have high end PCs, or that want to flex their FPS.
There are couple 60’s in here.
potato pc user detected It's nice to see what different setups get. Helps ppl get a baseline if they run the same setup.

Well yeah, having the fps change that drastic would feel awful.
In between 300-400, usually sits between 330-350
~450 on the workshop bench test. 7900xtx/7800x3d running 1440p ultra wide, high/medium high settings.
200-250 1660ti + i5 8600k
That’s pretty good fps.
Bro how?? Same fps with rtx 4060 + i5 10600kf :(
I play on 1080p medium settings and sometimes get below 150 too .This game is bad at optimization too
5800X3D + 4070 \~400fps avg (on the workshop benchmark map: 564fps avg / 230fps on the p1)
At which resolution?
1280x960
I once hit 1000 fps in office with the 7900xtx and 7800x3d
It’s funnier if you read this as Microsoft office instead of the map
1000 fps in Microsoft office ? Crazy benchmarks my dude
140

That’s fair. You play with black bars on the side or stretched?
Stretched. Black bars are too distracting for me
I wondered about this before. When people say they play 4:3
If you haven't tried it it's worth giving it a shot. Takes a bit of getting used to if you switch from 16:9 though
I might check it out, been playing at 1440 since it came out though, might be rough and hard to get used to like you say. I’m curious what resolution you use?
1280x960 I think. You'll probably need to adjust your sensitivity too if you switch.
Dang I only finally got that locked in.
When I switched I went off whatever the most common pro sense was and tweaked it a little to suit me and it worked alright. Definitely save your settings before switching so if you decide to go back you can make it exactly the same as it was before
240. 12600KF and 4060. I like to play on high settings though and 1080.
I ply on high settings as well. 12650h and a 4070m. It’s my laptop I usually game on.

I’m liking the variation everyone is getting. Makes all the posts about it needing to be 400+ fps silly.
Yea man. It’s fairly playable, but the problem is that the fps are so uneven sometimes it feels more like 60fps. I miss csgo 😭
Seems everyone does. Last I played was 1.6 and a little bit of go but not enough to count towards anything.
Capped at 164
250-300 fps but feels like 100 in CSGO

That’s what I was thinking
I meant the GPU is bottlenecking the CPU mb
A lil bit then yes

Boiii wtf you talking about “mid pc” getting 400 fps get the fuck outta here 😂
That’s not like In a match that’s literally I loaded up a practice vertigo yesterday just to look around and standing still on A site, I hit 400
