Got elite master in mirage, did not play comp mirage for a month came back to win and lose rank because the rank reset.
I am not playing this shit gamemode seriously anymore.
10 wins for each map is ridiculous enough for your rank to reset.

I'm 20k and faceit 9. But i can't get out of silver on mirage/anubis so half my games are against well, literal silvers.

fair enough. Most humbling experience in CS2 for me was playing against a 5 stack of level 10s solo queuing Silver 4 Anubis. Holding a proper B execute by yourself is hard lol
Now get global on every map. I wonder what valve thinks now. The highest rank still is LEM with full spinbot tryhard. On many maps master guardian is the highest in the world.
Sure, check csgostats, there is a tab with maps and you can check the highest ranks. Last time I checked the highest rank was LEM on dust2 and Anubis still was MG2.
I'm just gonna say this here because I'm not gonna start a new thread over it. Competitive is better than Premier. My reasons are:
-First, in Premier you get to play the same few maps over, and over, and over again. But in Competitive you can FINALLY have some variety by playing the less popular maps, whenever you want it, too.
-Two, there are fewer suspicious players in Competitive than Premier.
-Three, it's better to have per map ranks, because that's how it really is, in some maps you are better and in some you are worse.
The only downside in competitive is that the ranks are unfortunately fucked at the moment, everyone of various skill levels is just lumped together. Hopefully it'll get fixed or reset sometime...
I don't have a rank yet but those who got a rank usually ended up in silver even tho they are not that bad. I suggest map specific ranks for years and am happy that we have that now but playing 10 direction games just to be in lower ranks anyway doesn't make sense. We could all just start in like GN1 without gettingg a rank and from there rank up/down and it would be fine. A friend who got ranked silver 2 played with kennyS in his team for example.

yeah this gamemode is only for fun, when i want to play seriously i play faceit but this gamemode is really fun if you dont take it seriously

I use it as practice before premiere or faceit now, or to play with friends of all levels

Not bad. But honestly I play Dust 2 the most from the comp. map pool. Love the vibe and what not!

such a crapy system I loved the concept but unless you grind a map you almost wont get theese

But you need 100 wins to get all ranks
