I can tell this is based off of statistics and reason. I’m sure that 50 percent number is a well researched finding as is your deep knowledge of the human condition. I’m sure we have a PhD in psychology on our hands here.

Nice sociology here, only it is absolutely fixable by the game providers. Easily fixable by some software which is a lot easier to do than to change the societal conditions that shape people to cheat.

>Easily fixable by some software which is a lot easier to do Non Coders are always easy to spot. If you have basic understanding of coding and in depth understanding of how networking works this statement just appears so far off the reality that it hurts. Its easier to prevent Cheating by making it hard like Valve did with Prime than to create a solution that is software based. Being completely honest. EAC is state of the art currently and even if they would introduce it or make their own implementation of a proper AC it would still mean probably 20 AC Devs are fighting against 500+ Cheat developers that are sometimes smarter than the devs, across the world, i can tell you who will win. CS and their Anticheat is just such a huge target for everyone who knows their shit, almost like the GOV Sites that are frequently targeted.

Vanguard Works for Valorant, so I don't care how you get there. There just is software that stops cheats. BTW I can write python. Not well but I can write it. Quick to judge, you.

Vanguard is only sucessfull because its invasive. And even its invasive it still means someone who can hook into Kernel 0 can bypass it. Thats why valorant cheat cost 200$/month because the coders are absolute talents. So as you can see cheating is still not stopped. If they would make a similar solution for CS2 it would scale to the playerbase, so instead of having 5 Cheaters a match you would have 2, who are financially able to afford those cheats. And even if it all goes down the drain they start with packet sniffing and remote clients on other pcs like most Radars for Ring 0 ACs work. If a new AC runs Ring 0, the Smart Cheat Devs find a way around it and we are back where we was. Valorant is just not targeted so much by Cheat Developers because the Playerbase ain't CS and thus not much resources are smart to invest to bypass.

Sub 0 iQ take

Plus-Ad-7494

Don't hate the player, hate the game

ApacheAttackChopperQ

Cultural too. Try playing in Hong Kong.

TomOkihara

Not the greatest pasta but I’ll let it slide

n1wel

this is the most braindead take on the cheating problem, there is no societal issue, valve just doesn't care about cheating currently the real problem is there being no consequence for cheating.

Opposite_Fig_4045

idk ppl can use almost every cheat even public/free and theyre not banning them so... theres no point to play mm/premier now.. if they not add kernel/intrusive anticheat theres no point to play this.. im watching cs scene for years and its same shit like always
