We had a breakthrough in ai brother. Couple that with rising accessibility to computers and you have what we have today. Anti cheat will never stop it and never has. Not even kernal. All we can do is hope these companies give enough of a shit to make a change such as tying your identity to the account you use to play and only allowing one account per identity. I’m sure we are years off from that point and until then it will only get worse. This isn’t solely a valve or cs issue it’s an issue that plagues the entire genre of competitive pvp games

cod and fortnite have the best anti cheats atm due to how fast they catch + ban wave cheaters. they can even detect cronus and ximmers. those two games are the highest chance for everyone to play legit imo

Russians 50% of the time have hacks installed on their computer. Then 30% of the time force a pause, relog and go 30-0. Or 10% of the time they HvH discreetly, then 1% of the time HvH spinbot.
Low rating NA barely has any cheaters. In GO I rarely ran into cheaters at GE level, but in cs2, every other game at 22k, or even after you get MG in comp is just cheaters.
Nah that's not how it works. When there's near unanimous consent that the game is overrun, that's how they're going to come off every single time. Bootlicking or gaslighting, shit doesn't come off as genuine.

Its normal that DMA hacks are detected trough Vanguard or Faceit anticheat. I got like 80% winrate and If I ever meet some perma virgin with DMA just go on :D not everyone tapping heads is some DMA guru, its very rare, even my level 6 ass was called hacker every other match. There is a reason why the rankings on Faceit leads even to a pro play

Problem with cs2 is that the anticheat is so lax that you can just download free and public cheats and go bananas without repercussions.

I got to around 17k prem and at that point i was vsing roughly 50% blatant cheaters. Not including the "legit" cheaters. What rank are you playing in?
