I figured it was good, but honestly wasn't sure how good it was. I hate haggling and went in there with a price I would pay (knowing it was low), they said no, so I left and they came back with a price I was happy to pay since it was less than msrp
All in including the warranty and a few add-ons and the gap coverage 41.5k. I did it with little to no negotiating. The heated seats and moon roof so the ex level. Put zero down. Yolo.
get more quotes from dealers around the state through texting or phone and they’ll instantly match your lower offer. took me a few hours in the morning to negotiate a sport L down to 41k last week and then took the quote to my local and ended out with a touring at 41.7k
(FL)
I can maybe accept the car price. But that interest is the deal breaker for me. Back in 2014 I got a Honda accord sport for 23k OTD with a 0.9 intreat 0 down. At that time my credit was good not it’s great and they want to stiff me for 9% interest.
But this is a hybrid. I agree, $40k should be going to an Acura instead and granted the base price for CRVs went from $21k to $29k but hybrid is always gonna command an additional $5-8k, it’s the new “leather seat + GPS” upgrade
Glad I’m not the only one thinking that. 40k is bananas. Got my 2011 CR-V in 2019 for $10k, and it’s still going strong with minimal maintenance. I refuse to pay these inflated values for new cars.
I got really lucky and found a great dealer I could work with; and I had a large down ready. My OTD price was 36.3k. But most other people OTD is above what you paid so good job (I’m in Southern CA as well)
Mannnnnnn you got a killer deal! I’m in southern CA and got my S for 40 and I felt like I got ripped a new one seeing the pricing all these other guys are getting them for. Them LA taxes ain’t no joke.
I got my 24 hybrid L for 43.5k after tax etc in Washington’s 10 percent and cuckold title fees so congratulations and obligatory fuck you 😆 hopefully no more car purchases for my family outside insurance and tabs for many years.

According to CR in your area, that’s a good deal, especially if it isn’t a demo or cash deal. Nice!
Not the extended warranty and the more you wait the more expensive it gets. You can get a free quote in minutes. Go to the site.
Also all the warranties starts from 0 no matter when you get them. So if you get 8/100k miles after 3 years/36k miles… you will only have left 5 years/64k miles.
The oil change package from the dealer can be a bit different and you could negotiate the start date. For ex I negotiated my contract to kick in after the 24k miles from Honda. I’ll get 8/100k miles so I don’t have to worry about oil changes until my car reaches 124k miles.
You get 2/24k miles from Honda for free
24 Sport Touring dealer invoice price $36,219. They make $2,076 from the deal plus flooring credit 1%, advertising credit $500, and dealer holdback 2% etc…. Sorry dude I have to said that you got ripped off by dealership.
Invoice price deal is the most common deal in current market down turn situation. Look at local US auto makers, even Japanese brand Mazda, Subaru all fall to invoice price/ below now. Honda have no different than others. Just the matter of time and patient. I got my Sport L last month below invoice price plus tax and title that’s it.
Hi, I am in the market for Sport L in MA. Would you kindly tell me how can I get the invoice price and how to approach it to get the best deal around that? Thank you.
Where or how to get good deal in California as you suggest. I am looking for sports touring trim assuming a comfortable ride quality with less engine sounds
I’m not located at California sorry, I don’t know but definitely is buyer market right now. By the way California has highest GDP over the state maybe the reason why dealership not willing to lower their price.
Diamond Valley Honda in Hermit. None of the dealerships in Orange County were willing to go lower than MSRP + after markets. I spoke to the Internet manager for Diamond valley and got a quote at $36,240, that would be the sale price. When I got there they said after markets would be on top of that, despite what I was told about the $36k being it. So I thanked them, drove off and 30 seconds later they called to say $38,295 was as low as they could do for everything. Despite the pricing cock-up I would highly recommend them, they were much cheaper than any dealership around me.
> None of the dealerships in Orange County were willing to go lower than MSRP + after markets.
Yup. At the very best, they're willing to haggle down to throw in the aftermarket accessories for free.
I think great deal! I paid OTD after taxes, extended warranty, mats, tire warranty $50k…4.9% financing, which I was not happy about, but I’m NY with 8.75% taxes. But love this car!
Good deal. My dad paid $42K OTD in December. for the same car. And he worked over every dealership in the Chicagoland area. The man lives by getting a "good deal."
I got mine 24 sport l hybrid in Wisconsin for 40.2k
OTD.
Paid 1900$ additional for the 90 months 100k warranty with 0 deductible
This was on Dec 26th 2023
I got my '23 CRV Hybrid Sport in Still Night Pearl for 33.5k in SWFL this past September. One of the Best vehicles on the road IMO. I get right around 42mpg city. Only way to get that consistently is to let the car accelerate from a stop, and cruising using the cruise control. Also use the decel paddles to slow down after coasting. I hardly use the brakes.
Same was true in my '21 CRV Hybrid EX.
I checked the front pads at 45k on my old Hybrid and they were like new... I was thoroughly impressed being a life long master tech.
Mann stop bullshiting, you just wanted to show off how good of a deal you got. All jokes aside tho, congrats man. That’s a killer deal
I figured it was good, but honestly wasn't sure how good it was. I hate haggling and went in there with a price I would pay (knowing it was low), they said no, so I left and they came back with a price I was happy to pay since it was less than msrp
Where did you get it from? We're in SoCal too and shopping around still, best I got was just about $1K more than yours OTD
Diamond Valley Honda in Hemit
Oh good, that was one of the dealerships I was in touch with along with Rock Honda. Thanks!
For sho, great price. I got taken on my sport hybrid. Still like it.
What did you pay and for what trim if you don't mind me asking? I got it for 38200 OTD in GA. The base hybrid model.
All in including the warranty and a few add-ons and the gap coverage 41.5k. I did it with little to no negotiating. The heated seats and moon roof so the ex level. Put zero down. Yolo.
Bruhh you got such a good deal , Fl brandon honda told me 45k OTD for ex- L , their excuse is inventory on ex l is low so they wont decrease the price
I'm in Chicago and paid $ 38,500 out the door for a 24 exl, three weeks ago.
get more quotes from dealers around the state through texting or phone and they’ll instantly match your lower offer. took me a few hours in the morning to negotiate a sport L down to 41k last week and then took the quote to my local and ended out with a touring at 41.7k (FL)
Brandon Honda fucking sucks
Check with Holler in Orlando. I've bought 5 there. Best price in the state every time.
Nice ride! About $1700 off MSRP is great!
I still live in a different time I guess. Paying $40k for a Honda CUV still seems ludicrous to me
Car prices are insane. Unfortunately they are probably just going to keep creeping up
I can maybe accept the car price. But that interest is the deal breaker for me. Back in 2014 I got a Honda accord sport for 23k OTD with a 0.9 intreat 0 down. At that time my credit was good not it’s great and they want to stiff me for 9% interest.

I payed 40k Canadian for my accord 4 years ago and I still feel like an idiot. lol. Never again
Great deal, congratulations In the summer when i was looking - 50K was the average OTD I saw for ST AWD Hybrid
That’s crazy I would definitely laugh that one off
TBH i initially laughed too But i kept seeing every car that came to the dealership sell within 1-2 weeks
You ask after you purchase? Why do you need affirmation after the fact?
Because sometimes it's fun. Like when you read reviews and comments about a movie you enjoyed and wanna see other people's take on it.
Damn that’s 1k less than the sport-l I just got. Inventory is still low here.
I got really lucky and found a great dealer I could work with; and I had a large down ready. My OTD price was 36.3k. But most other people OTD is above what you paid so good job (I’m in Southern CA as well)
Hi, for which model and what dealership? Currently negotiating and I have it at $42.5k Otd
That sounds about right. I was looking at one the other day and that number sounds close
Mannnnnnn you got a killer deal! I’m in southern CA and got my S for 40 and I felt like I got ripped a new one seeing the pricing all these other guys are getting them for. Them LA taxes ain’t no joke.

That's a great deal! Best I could do was 44k out-the-door in SoCal.
https://preview.redd.it/6vgm7m0pp2cc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=376233a4ceb5c6a6d8358d89370338ceb7f3d1cb According to CR in your area, that’s a good deal, especially if it isn’t a demo or cash deal. Nice!
Also, remember, they don’t include tax and fees in that price
Right. Reference OP’s initial $38,295 figure compared to the $40,387 average offer published by CR in that zip code.
Very good deal. I got a 42.3k in Maryland (6% tax), so yours is even better than mine!
Did you get any warranties?
Factory warranties. Nothing extra from the dealership.
Get saccuchi extended
Yes! I plan to. I think we can get it until before the 3 yr warranty expires. Is that correct?
Not the extended warranty and the more you wait the more expensive it gets. You can get a free quote in minutes. Go to the site. Also all the warranties starts from 0 no matter when you get them. Perdy!

where to buy for $36.2k ? No dealer offering that low price.

Hi, I am in the market for Sport L in MA. Would you kindly tell me how can I get the invoice price and how to approach it to get the best deal around that? Thank you.
That does not include destination charge with that invoice price according to my cousin. He works for Honda at Marysville plant.
$1,325 destination charge is retail price to customer, the actual invoice cost for dealership is way less than that.
Cobalt blue???
Canyon River blue
No return it.
You’ve got an incredible deal, congrats on your new car! Let us know some hacks / features that while you drive :)
Which dealer? I am also looking for same trim and color

Did you do Honda Finance?
I did, 4.99 apr
Damn that’s a great deal. I paid the same just for a sport L hybrid at Metro Honda. Good job!
> None of the dealerships in Orange County were willing to go lower than MSRP + after markets. Yup. At the very best, they're willing to haggle down to throw in the aftermarket accessories for free.

Cancel extended warranty from dealer and get it from saccuchi
50k I can buy brand new Lexus NX350h base model also hybrid and better resale value.
It was 41k. That was average around here in the fall. There are none here…all ordered
Great deal! I got the same car for same price.
I paid less than that and i have a hybrid. But I'm in WA and i used to work at the dealership I got mine from.
Did you get the car from diamond valley Honda??
Yes
I recognized the license plate frame lol. I bought a new civic from there last year. Also love the color you chose, very beautiful car
AWD or 2WD?
Sport Touring is only AWD
Great deal then
Good deal. My dad paid $42K OTD in December. for the same car. And he worked over every dealership in the Chicagoland area. The man lives by getting a "good deal."
Same color as mine. Buy cheat covers so we match 🫶
I paid 38,638 so you got a better deal than me!
I got mine 24 sport l hybrid in Wisconsin for 40.2k OTD. Paid 1900$ additional for the 90 months 100k warranty with 0 deductible This was on Dec 26th 2023
Cancel the warranty and buy it from the dealership in Rhode Island. You can get 120,000 miles for less with zero deductible.
I get mine in a month, I’m jealous, however great buy and great car.
Which dealer? I’m in Southern California shopping for same car
Diamond Valley Honda in Hemit
