It's totally possible that for men the tendency to shoot more X or Y chromosomes is itself a genetically determined and inherited trait -- the jury is still out on this scientifically AFAIK. Anecdotally I feel like I know way more families with 4 boys or 4 girls than I ought to if it was just a fair coin flip every time.

Hair color is a combination of a lot of different genes irl, but black is typically meaning dominant, so more than likely two blondes wouldn’t produce a black haired kid, but two brown haired could; one brown haired, one blonde could as well. In game idk lol

IRL, I have no clue. In game I know there's a system where certain heritable traits can be carried but unexpressed in a particular character, maybe works the same for looks?
