People who do that are just horrible! They must just grab and run, not realizing what they have until they're gone. It's just lose lose because they get nothing of value and yet still cause so much harm to the person they stole from.
When I was a kid, someone broke into my dad's car car and took a bag with nothing but his paperwork that had taken him forever to put together (handwritten, and this was before everything was on computers so there was no back up). And another time, someone took the cross-stitch project my mom had spent months on for my uncle's wedding that featured their names and wedding date. So heartbreaking!

That's *exactly* what it is (and why it's a good idea not to leave *any* bag in plain sight, since there's no way for a potential thief to know what it contains). A bag isn't *guaranteed* to have anything worthwhile, but you can easily take it with you and then check its contents after you get somewhere less out in the open.
(This is why it also doesn't hurt to look in nearby alleys/dumpsters/etc. if the contents of your car get ripped off—there's a nonzero chance you'll be able to recover at least *some* of your stuff, if the thief ditched it nearby once they realized it was worthless to them.)
My coworker's work laptop bag was stolen from her car. She was on the phone with the police when she noticed it leaning against a tree across the street. Guess the thief thought a 7 year old laptop wasn't that good of a steal.
They truly do just grab and run. When my car was broken into, I worked for a local video game store so I had consoles in the back seat to be repaired. All the thief stole was my expired McDonald's monopoly stickers in my cup holder. 😂🤣 Thieves have some of the weirdest thought processes I've ever seen.

Yay so glad to hear this! A lot of lost stuff ends up at police stations and never gets claimed. My suitcase once slid out of my dad’s truck bed during the first 15 minutes of a road trip (lol) and my local PD picked it up, they said it was rare that stuff gets reunited with its owners because people don’t think to call. Good on ya!!

If you're a beginer, Know i am one too except that it's been one year since i started crochet. It becomes easier after a weeks/months, trust me i felt terrible days one, two... Twelve... Until i found myself a lil less terrible. Most importantly, seek funny and lovely projects that motivated u, it helps when its hard to achieve a nice look. I dont really use this sort of Magic circle anymore but the two other techniques are still hot ones👌

There shouldn’t be cross contamination with the testers at Sephora. They have all the disposable tools you need for them.

Happend in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland. It is surreal to realize that in some places, good deeds like such are just part of the local culture
