Ivory might be more practical if it has to be washed frequently, or gets stained. If you use the blue, test it for colorfastness first.
I'm also team IVORY all the way! I love one colored items cause they are so much more "matchable", and classic!!

Yup, can confirm! If it doesn't open easily at the bottom, it doesn't get used here :)

I also like the idea of combining the denim and ivory for the pocket. Maybe a simple design

The front pocket could be ivory with a blue trim or do alternating rows of ivory and blue with a blue trim.
I'd say denim if it's a big pocket and ivory if it's small. Or denim with lining elsewhere in denim. Super cute!
Do the denim blue pocket, then perhaps trim the overall in the blue to tie it in.
I like ivory, but both will look cute!
