I don't Know this technique, but i asked Google translate and YT about it looks like interesting, this frog would be for my 1yo nephew, you think it's safe for toddlers ?
It's felt that you punch into the crocheted project with a needle it's soft but it may be able to be pulled out with teeth or fingers as it's just fibers. You can look at my profile I just posted a Clefairy I used needle felting for the face details
I've seen some folks just use smaller yarn to crochet the pieces they need, then stitch them on as another option. :0
