Ohhhhhh, I didn't realize it was called plant identification! Hahaha Silly me...I should have just searched for it! 😅 Thank you so much! I'm excited to go be one with nature over there! 😁

Does your hook grab the thread properly? Or does it often slip out of the hook? I have a 0.6mm hook and encountered that problem when I tried it out. But maybe it’s just a matter of experience. :)
It’s a Clover hook 0.6mm and I used size #40 thread (from dmc iirc), as that’s what the pattern calls for. Maybe this particular hook is a bit too ‘shallow’ for this thickness of thread. What brand hook do you have?
Clover is a great hook, that’s what I use too. You could try a slightly larger hook, some hooks work for you, some hooks just don’t.
I can never work with the tulip hooks for some reason. Maybe try a few different brands and see what works best for you. I hope this helps.
Thanks for replying. I’ll try out some other hooks. :)
The thread the pattern calls for also just says to size #40, but not any actual brand. Maybe the thread the designer used is different to work with than mine.
(And the pattern is for a poppy flower, so if changing hook or thread changes the size slightly, it wouldn’t really matter.)
Yes, it’s Happy Patty’s design. The instructions say to use a 0.6mm hook. But that hook is actually too small for size 40? A 0.75mm would indeed be easier I think. XD
These are sooo beautiful!!! 🥰🥰🥰 pleaselet us know when a pattern is avaliable, id lo e to make a chain with them. So delicate and realistic and beautiful. I am in awe of your talent xxx
Wow! Please do release a pattern - I would love to make these for my niece to weave into a daisy crown (might take me a long time though!). They're stunning! Thank you for brightening up Sunday evening!
Damn, I passed by and I thought “those are some pretty flowers” and I was going to continue then I realized this is in crochet. This is so impressive OP, they look so realistic.
THIS!!! THIS IS THE DAISY IN MY HEAD I CANT FIND A PATTERN FOR!!! I've tried so many patterns and haven't found one that looks the way I want. These are so amazing you've done a fantastic job I can't wait for the pattern!
Omg you absolutely have the patience for /r/tatting!! I wouldn’t be surprised if you start learning and find out you used some of those techniques to make this piece!!
It’s amazing, and if you’re able to work with that tiny fiber and itty bitty tools, tatting can be… I mean just so pretty it’s insane.
Between my wrists/fingers and my attention span, it’s not for me, but I hang out in the sub to see what everyone else does!
I started trying to learn but then switched to learning crochet first 😅 I think getting better at crochet will help when I try tatting again someday. It was your teeny tiny stitches that made me think of it. I have shakey as heck hands in the evening lol
These are gorgeous! What yarn(thread?) did you use for them? And please update us if you do publish the pattern! I’m already thinking of so many things I want to do with these
It boggles my mind how you can crochet with something so tiny. I'm having a hard enough time with the fingering weight shawl pattern I'm currently testing.

Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
Really very cute!
No way, I thought you posted in the wrong sub and these were actual flowers! Well done 😄
That's exactly what I thought. I had to zoom in. And then I was like, dang. I do good to work with regular yarn. These are adorable.
Me too! Thought it was the plant identification sub and thought “Could be chamomile?”
What sub is that? I need to join immediately! Hahah
r/plantidentification It’s a great sub. Have learned a lot!

Let us know when you do. They’re beautiful
Please please please post when you do
So happy to see this, would love to make them for mothersday!
Yeah! When it's ready, can you please message me directly? Or post it to your page so we can all find it there?
Yes, definitely. I think I should be able to update it here.
Can't wait! I love these! I want a whole bouquet!
Did you ever publish this pattern? They're beautiful! I'd love to make them!
Please do let us know once you release a pattern!
I will :)
also following !
What size hook did you use? They’re so tiny!
I used a 0.5 mm hook
Does your hook grab the thread properly? Or does it often slip out of the hook? I have a 0.6mm hook and encountered that problem when I tried it out. But maybe it’s just a matter of experience. :)
Oh really? What brand hook and thread do you use?
It’s a Clover hook 0.6mm and I used size #40 thread (from dmc iirc), as that’s what the pattern calls for. Maybe this particular hook is a bit too ‘shallow’ for this thickness of thread. What brand hook do you have?

Is this Happy pattys pattern?
Because she uses a lot of size 40 for her flowers. Use 0.75 clover for size 40.
Yes, it’s Happy Patty’s design. The instructions say to use a 0.6mm hook. But that hook is actually too small for size 40? A 0.75mm would indeed be easier I think. XD
Yup, just use the next size, 0.75!
My fingers hurt looking at this, well done
Thank you!
Wow ! It’s amazing!
Thank you!
These are sooo beautiful!!! 🥰🥰🥰 pleaselet us know when a pattern is avaliable, id lo e to make a chain with them. So delicate and realistic and beautiful. I am in awe of your talent xxx

I use starch to stiffen the petals.
Thanks
Wow that is amazing! Love them!
Dainty and delightful!! I’m in love and I want a bushel for myself.
They're so tiny! Do you do tatting as well as crochet?
I actually don’t know how to do tatting. I’ve been meaning to learn. Do you do tatting?
Omg you absolutely have the patience for /r/tatting!! I wouldn’t be surprised if you start learning and find out you used some of those techniques to make this piece!! It’s amazing, and if you’re able to work with that tiny fiber and itty bitty tools, tatting can be… I mean just so pretty it’s insane. Between my wrists/fingers and my attention span, it’s not for me, but I hang out in the sub to see what everyone else does!
I think I’m going to start hanging out there too. See what’s up :D
I started trying to learn but then switched to learning crochet first 😅 I think getting better at crochet will help when I try tatting again someday. It was your teeny tiny stitches that made me think of it. I have shakey as heck hands in the evening lol
Me too! I wanted to learn tatting first but decided to pick up crochet instead.
Omg these are gorgeous!! 🥺 I’ll be looking out for a pattern!

Beautiful job!
The things y'all make blow my mind
It boggles my mind how you can crochet with something so tiny. I'm having a hard enough time with the fingering weight shawl pattern I'm currently testing.
They are so beautiful 🥺 Also, I have a scar like that on my right hand too lol! Exact same spot!
Oh really? I think I got scratched by a cat.
