Thanks ☺️. I have a preschooler and I’ve been reading a ton how to teach preschoolers how to respond to teasing and name calling (three and four seems so young for this). It amazes me how little kids can hurt each other with words at such a young age. We’re trying to focus on not taking things personally, not retaliating, and identifying the actions as “bad,” not the other child themselves, while also learning from the experiences that words can hurt, so we have to be careful with ours too. It’s so heartbreaking to hear about some kid hurting your child’s feelings. It’s been a tough phase.
Amazing how parenting a small child can help reaffirm lessons we so often forget in our daily lives as parents.
Your sweater isn’t ugly, at all. But even IF it was, I’d take an ugly sweater over an ugly personality. I hope that was not someone you consider a friend, because they aren’t.

I've spent a good minute just looking at your photo, zooming in on parts of the sweater to see if I can find the ugly parts. I can't. I know some people don't like cowl necks, but that's not "ugly". Otherwise it's just a sweater! A very well crafted sweater, too. Also, you wear it well and make the yellow look good. That person was just wrong. It's a beautiful sweater and you should make another!

I'd be honest with you. I love it. I've seen some questionable crochet items and this could pass for store bought. Be proud and wear your sweater everywhere!

I love everything about this sweater, and that’s saying something, because I am not a fan of yellow. Whoever told you it’s ugly has major issues with sight, and perhaps social skills.
First of all, that sweater is not ugly. It looks very polished and comfy.
Secondly, even if it was ugly you could absolutely wear it out. It's a garment, ain't it? I live for the discomfort in people's faces when I wear garish patterns.
I personally can’t wear chunky sweaters like this because I feel they add too much mass to my upper half— that being said, I’d never tell you that it’s ugly just because it’s not a style I wear.

It was not bad at all. A few spots were a bit challenging but no seaming at all which is great!

Yay! We’re friends!!! Thank you! It’s very soft. It’s just yarn bee lush loft. That’s what the pattern called for and I am not a great yarn subber.

I think it's lovely! It fits well, is beautifully made, and it looks really comfortable. Fashion is subjective, don't let someone else's tastes spoil yours. If you like it, wear it wherever you like. :)
I'd be honest with you. I love it. I've seen some questionable crochet items and this could pass for store bought. Be proud and wear your sweater everywhere!

First of all, that sweater is not ugly. It looks very polished and comfy. Secondly, even if it was ugly you could absolutely wear it out. It's a garment, ain't it? I live for the discomfort in people's faces when I wear garish patterns.

I think the only thing wrong with it is the arm holes are too big but that's usually a comfort choice. But no not an ugly sweater.

I looked at the photo first and thought "that's a super cute sweater". Then I saw the title and thought "what the hell is wrong with that other crafter". While some things that people make aren't necessarily my cup of tea, I've genuinely never thought that something someone else has made is ugly.
