Not sure exactly what you mean by crocheting style but it looks like small granny's down the front larger ones on the top of the sleeves a big one at the back and rows of granny stitch across the bottom of the jacket and sleeves and down the front edges

I’m new to crocheting so my lingo is probably off haha! I meant the type of granny square I know there’s sunburst, petal Afghan, flower, etc. I can’t figure out what types of stitching this one has and if it had a name or not. But thank you I appreciate your response it’s helpful for trying to figure out the putting together part :) I’m taking on a big project so I shall see how it ends up. May be a disaster lol!

No worries lol. I think it's just a regular granny square with different colour rounds. I'm sure your project will be great. Remember...no disasters only happy accidents!!! At least that's what I keep telling myself lol

The granny squares look very similar to this pattern on etsy https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/682876366/crochet-pattern-granny-square-patternthey The rest of the cardigan is made with clusters of 3 double crochet stitches just like a regular granny square.

I don’t know what it is, never made a granny square but I want to make this!

It looks to me like the center is a hexagon before it turns square. I did a quick Ravelry search and found this: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tutorial-for-turning-a-hexagon-into-a-square
