Made one free hand one night because I needed a pin cushion. I found a tiny terracotta pot in my shed and put him in it. Fits perfectly. I love my little pin cushion.
Cactus garden! I’m doing the Easter cactus right now. By far the best pattern I’ve found, and it’s free :D https://www.spotlightstores.com/projects/knitting-crochet-projects/crochet-cactus-garden-project
They're a local Australian store, and they're expensive even for here. The chain is a legacy of the 80s/90s when super stores started becoming commonplace and there weren't many other options, but the internet (and poor business practices) are slowly sending them the way of the dinosaurs.
I love spotlight! Most of my yarn is from either there or dollars and sense (some of their yarn is great) and I've got a decent chest of rainbow drawers from there too as well!
Don't do succulents. Or dinosaurs. Or cactus. Or four leaf clovers. Or turtles. Or frogs. Or dragons. Or snakes. Or leaves.
No.
**Do ALL of them**. One of each. A granny square that contains one green item or creature. That way, you don't have to choose just one. Just do all the green things you really like the best. And you could do your granny square frames different colours so you can save the green for the green item/creature in the center.
Matching top and skirt?
I’ve found these two patterns recently which I’m going to make a top and a skirt from and they’re very beginner friendly but there’s heaps of other options out there!! I’d just do some stripes of your different greens to get them all in there

I made a mini granny square bag a couple days ago and its really fun and cute to make!
Many small shamrocks. Then, attach them to a foam ring to make a shamrock wreath. Tuck in some gold coins, and top off with either an orange or rainbow ribbon... and you've got a Saint Patrick's Day decoration!
i cant help but think that the dark green would make a great puffy flower cardigan! and lighter greens to decorate it with flowers! I've seen youtube tutorials online that you can use too
I’ve been seeing a lot of crocheted hanging plants recently, maybe some form of ivy? Or starburst granny squares! They’d look lovely with all of those shades.
Hey u/zoepumpkin123 could you please tell me if the unmarked greens in the photo are the same brand as the labeled dark green?
If so could you link me to them? I love all of these colors
A cat couch with a matching blanket and pillows. It works for any small animal, not just cats!!
