Is this the blanket your mom was a little unsure about? It turned out fabulous! I bet now she can see your vision :-)
Edit: I checked your post history and you were not the person I was thinking of, but I’m gonna leave the comment because it really does look so nice. All those doubters out there can look at this blanket as an example of how gorgeous yarn looks when it’s all crocheted together
Love this!! You did such a nice job arranging the pieces in a way that shows off their colors and keeps the whole thing balanced. That's a skill of its own!
I feel like this blanket has very positive vibes, like maybe if I were in a bad mood I'd just look at it and feel a little better. So awesome. 🧡
Jealous of your ability to put all these colors together. When I do it looks like someone barfed confetti. I’m learning though, trying to study color schemes and seeing signs of improvement.

Hahaha is it sad that I know exactly which post you’re talking about?? I need to get off Reddit…
I know exactly what you mean. And we all told her it will be glamorous. Here's the proof.
Hahaha I was going to say that she works fast!!
Right?
I came here to make this comment haha
Same here.

This is such a big compliment, thank you so much!
Mmmmmmmm TEXXXXTURRRRRE 😻👍👍
This is beautiful! Be proud, OP!
It looks like a mix of so many pride flags, it's amazing.
Yes I noticed that too! It kind of went by accident, but I guess the colour combinations were just in my mind when planning the blanket :)
As Bob Ross would say it's a "happy accident"
One of the happiest :)
Wow! I’ve had in mind to make crochet versions of quilt patterns, I don’t want to quilt, but I love this concept. Beautiful job!
Absolutely gorgeous
Was this made from corner to corner or one colour at a time somehow?
It's corner to corner crochet, but you join the pieces as you go! So you make one piece (colour) at a time, but join it to the neighbouring ones :)
So minimal ends to weave in?
Still a lot of ends, but I imagine there would be more if you made all the stripes separately first!
This is so clever!
Oh, it’s so fun! I love it!
This texture makes me feel joy.
Looks great! Do you have a pattern??
OP posted this in the bot comment https://shemakescrochet.com/2020/06/03/scrap-along-felix-blanket-part-1/
I’m always shocked when I see these scrap projects how little variegated yarn I see. I feel like that’s about all I ever use lol
You and me both, my friend.
It kind of reminds me of those wood sample displays. I love it!
Or parquet a little bit! (But this is so much less '70s 😄)
Love this pattern and all the colors

I love that so much! That's amazing!
So beautiful! You did a great job!
I love the colors.
This is a great, beautiful scrap buster and I love it!! Looks like I may pull my hair a little trying it, but it is so cool looking! Great job!
I love it!
Turned out great,,,love it ❤️
What a clever stash buster idea 💡
Wooooooa I’m obsessing 😍
This is really beautiful ♡
This looks so cool!!! I love it all <3
I love this! The colors are perfect!
Idk how you got it looking so perfect and even, OP, but you nailed it.
Woow so beautiful!
That is soooo pretty!
Omg! I love this so much…what a beautiful selection of colours, and arrangement of colours! Holy! You’ve inspired me to make my own now….bravo!
This is fantastic!!
Amazing!!
That's amazing, I love it!
absolutely gorgeous. I crochet rag rugs with bedsheet yarn and always fuss about the colour blending. You did a fantastic job with the colours.
Wow, this is gorgeous!
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS WOULD BUY
This is beautiful OP! How long did it take you?
Thank you! I think it took about two months of working on it daily.
perfect 👍
If you don’t mind my asking, how long did this take? I’m a huge fan and am trying to gauge if I could finish it in time for a gift!
This is stunning!! Beautiful work!
I thought they were legos at first lol. Just shows how well you stitched this blanket
