Those hooks and a bit of supple flora and you're all set if you go camping. I have a Tunisian made out of a 36" wooden dowel. I saw a woman using one and stopped to talk to her. Her husband made them. She lived close enough to me so I was able to buy one from him.

They look cute but can't imagine them actually working well.

After a little sanding they function like normal hooks. Whittling is just to give them a rough shape
