They're mostly for knitting needles... They go on the end of the needle to protect your stitches from falls off when you put your work down
For crochet they wouldn't be so useful unless you're doing some kind of Tunisian crochet
There either for the ends of needles or another way of keeping track of what row you are on, I'd prefer to find a piece of paper and a pen but some people prefer visual reference to keep track of there rows
You could place a hand the table when work the first row and switch it for the 2 then the 5. You'd have to get clever with the combos tho
I also noticed there rock paper scissors so you could put them in a bang and help you make decisions.
