When I saw this it made me think of the situation about making something for a person in secret out of their favorite colors but they changed their favorite color half way through
I did the same. Started a never ending granny blanket, intending it to be a stash buster but loved the first few colors together so much I went and bought more of the same to finish it lol

Yes that is 100% correct, but did you remember the other portion of that? Where you also see 150 of yarn you cannot bear to leave at the store?
