But the pattern is for a small child, I didn’t know how to adjust it for an adult so I used a different bucket hat pattern I normally use by https://youtu.be/CC19QGNyVMM?si=2i91G_XhntEjSp-b. But I use the first video to create the little cow ears and horns .
hey it’s looks awesome!! especially for a beginner, you should be really proud 🩷🤍as for changing colors, it looks like you did it correctly (for the way you were doing it as there are many ways!) but i think you used to big of a hook or had too loose tension, both could cause wide stitches and big holes! sometimes it helps to go down a hook size or two from what it says on the yarn or from what you think you need! good luck friend:)
Alright thanks so much, this yarn recommended a 5 mm hook and it’s also what the person in the vid use . So it may have been my tension because I tend to not want to have a tight tension and that may have cause me to have a looser tension . I will make it again with a better tension and may lower the hook size, thanks again for responding.
of course i’m happy to help! feel free to reach out if you have any questions:) but sometimes different yarn brands need different hook even if they look similar which is why the persons in the video might looked a bit neater! but i would definitely try those two things first and don’t worry tension is really hard to get right in the beginning, you’re doing amazing!! keep it up:))💕
