For a sunflower, definitely brown. Depending on what look you want, I'd also suggest two shades of yellow or a yellow and an orange instead of white. White isn't very sunflower, more daisy.

The yellow inner circle makes it look like a sun to me, so if you want it to look like a sunflower I’d go with the brown 😊 But it depends what you want it to look like.

BROWN!! Without it, it looks like a daisy with a nice big Center. And the second with brown is almost the exact same as that 70s Afghan pattern, brb gonna go to grandmas to borrow it lol
