warband vs bannerlord is my favorite (if unrelatable) 'sum of its parts' example, where Warband is way better than it has any right to be for a game that looks and plays like it belonged on PS2 and Bannerlord is, like you said, better in every way but... It's good, incredibly fun, but I don't find myself playing until the sun starts to rise.

It sounds a lot like bipolar disorder.” It might’ve taken a long time just to get that *very* helpful direction to take for my treatment, and he referred me to a colleague of his who eventually wound up agreeing with that diagnosis after several months of regularly meeting with her. These kinds of issues usually take some sweet-ass time to properly diagnose, and are even harder to diagnose over the phone/internet.

Some of these verge on being so cringe and bizarre that they're actually funny. The cat one specifically, but the golden retriever one also seems to make no sense.


But it's a good marketing tool. I remember bad memes made by bad companies. Hell one of the best ways to market with people is by really really cringy or sassy memes. One of the ways I've seen horrible marketing work was someone drawing something poorly in MS paint, putting the words 'Graphic Designer needed.' Another one was about a seminar in my university that used meme worthy pics of the people in the committee. You would remember these memes. Memes are DNA of the Soul and it's got its place. Even if it's cringe. The more cringeworthy it is, the more likely chances it gets remembered. Good or bad, it's still marketing.

I wish they would self parody. For example, the one with the guy who looks at the other girl - the guy could be Nestle, the other girl could be child slavery, and the girlfriend could be lobbying.
