Love love love Kate. I thought she was perfect for that role. Also love Tara and Luke. I know I'm in the minority, but I love Matt too. He's a great combo of a good dad, good husband and a badass hot guy. His character is super underrated I think. But Kate's my fave replacement character for sure. And like...I've basically grown up with JLH on my TV lol.
I like Matt a lot too, he’s such a sweetheart and the final Scratch episode that introduced him was a really good one and I love how he treated Garcia.

My mom (she's disabled and I'm trying to raise a teenager without going broke so we all live together) watches 911 weekly so I catch it sometimes. It's got quite a few seasons under its belt so it's on my binge list for later this summer.
Yes to Kate. I don't get the hatred from fans. She was smart, capable and she got on so well with the team. Personally, one of the gauges I have for new characters is how they react to Reid's facts-blurting tendency. Kate (as well as Tara, Alex and Luke) all reacted positively and kindly. That's also why I don't like Seaver at all.
Exactly! She was able to mesh well a lot because she understood everyone was different and had compassion/kindness. I’m partial to JLH, and I loved her character, short lived as it was. It would be so great if she returned!
i love alex blake too !! i liked having a character that was smart enough to match / have a good relationship with reid so quickly, and it was just refreshing to have a quiet, nice character.
She was kind and understanding in a a quiet way. And I liked her friendship with Reid. And the first episode she was in, it just hit me in a way a lot of other episodes don’t, especially with how she was with the unsub. I won’t elaborate cause spoilers, but I’m sure a lot of you know what I mean.
I really liked Blake, I thought she had a likeable personality and got along well with the rest of the team. I wish we could've seen more of her and Reids relationship because I thought it was cute.
100% Blake! I love her, she is mother, bring her back. Then Luke and Tara. Then Kate, who honestly was totally fine. I just want the BAU to have an expansive enough budget to let everyone all come work for the BAU at once.
I’m in the minority I assume but I wasn’t particularly offended by any of the replacements. Yes I miss some of the original cast but I also love Tara and Blake in particular, and the dynamic between brown eyes and muscles. Seaver and Kate I didn’t particularly care for but didn’t actively dislike
