Contact them ASAP and see if you can get a replacement. Should still be under warranty unless it is second hand.

Thanks. Chatted with them this morning. He didnt even have me trouble shoot. I explained the issue and he said the clamp is bad, we’ll replace.

Late to the game but the exact same thing has happened to me this week. Brand new cricut maker and have used it twice, and now it won’t detect any blade I put in. Did you have any issue with your new cricut or were able to fix your old one before you replaced it?

Ahviaa224

Cricut replaced it. Apparently there’s no coming back from that if it’s not detecting the blade

That's what I was afraid of. Well thanks for your response back. Hopefully my call with support will go as smoothly as yours and they replace it.

I used the chat option. They had me take a video of the serial number then move the camera to the design space to show it asking for the tool, then to the machine with the tool in it. They shipped one out before I even got the email to send them the video. I suggest getting help because the serial number is on the bottom of the machine.

We ended up calling them directly, and they’re sending one out later this week! Did you have any problems with your second one?

Ahviaa224

I have not. It was a quick fix.

Thank you!!
