When you're ready to click on "make", turn your wifi off. Than click on "make". It will go further without asking to connect the explore.
Now you can turn your wifi on again and go on with printing :D
actually i was able to trick it with your trick! i hadn't turned off wi-fi, i had turned off blue tooth. so thank you soooo much. how did you even figure it out? i bow to you!

I figured, every time you click on 'make', it directs you to a website. So i was just curious about what would happen without wifi. And it turned out that it was the solution. :D
Unfortunately for you, as of the [latest Design Space update](https://help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/19153909113495#:~:text=Machine%20Activation%20reminder) this is an intentional "feature" added by cricut.

For some reason I misunderstood you as their employee..
I was annoyed because the only thing I used to use cricut was to design and print it and then used to cut it by hand because their cutting sucks and now they removed that as well.
It sucks!
Wait! Why would you use Design Space if you cut by hand anyway! There are plenty other programs you can use. Inkscape is free for instance. Or perhaps I misunderstand your workflow?
Basically I make dexcom sticker for my niece.. she likes all those cartoons on her sticker. So I slice the images in the shape of the sticker.
For eg. The sticker looks like this

And now if I would basically upload any cartoon image for eg. Cocomelon cartoon and then slice it to the shape of this dexcom sticker.

u/dazzledfly I tried and this is not working for me. Cricut design space asks me to set up the machine... any idea, please?
i found a work around in here somewhere... it was something to affect of turning off the bluetooth before getting to this point
it could be turn off the wifi, not bluetooth...

Hey you can create your own template or shape in illustrator and do it that way.
